Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that politics is an ocean of disaffected souls, where everyone is frustrated and hopes for a higher position than his current position. He said this during the launch of '50 Rules of Golden Life' in Nagpur on Sunday.
He said that life is a game of compromises, compulsions, limitations and contradictions. Be it in family, society, politics or corporate life, life is full of challenges and difficulties. One should learn the 'Art of Living' to face them.
Gadkari said- Chief Minister is afraid when the high command will remove him Gadkari recently mentioned the program in Rajasthan. Here he said that politics is an ocean of disaffected souls. Everyone here is sad. A corporator is sad about not getting a chance to become an MLA, an MLA is sad about not getting a place in the cabinet. The one who became a minister is unhappy because he did not get a good department and could not become the chief minister. And the CM is worried because he doesn't know when the high command will ask him to step down.
Gadkari recalled former US President Richard Nixon's coat Gadkari said that in his political career, he remembered a quote from the autobiography of former US President Richard Nixon, which said that a person does not end when he loses, he loses when he himself admits defeat.
Gadkari emphasized good human values and values for a happy life. While sharing his golden rule for living and succeeding, he also spoke about the importance of 'person, party and party principles'.

1. All's fair in love and politics Ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections on November 10, 2024, Nitin Gadkari said, “All is fair in love and politics.” Sometimes it works for people and sometimes there are reactions. In fact, he was asked the question that Ajit has joined Mahayuti after breaking Sharad Pawar's party.
Gadkari said about this-
Sharad Pawar broke all the parties while being the Chief Minister. He broke the Shiv Sena and threw out Chhagan Bhujbal and other leaders, but this is quite common in politics. Whether it is right or wrong is a different matter. There is a saying- all is fair in love and politics.
2. Government drowns whoever it goes with, like Vishkanya On October 1, 2024, Nitin Gadkari spoke about the lack of investment in Maharashtra's Vidarbha, saying, 'Everything should not depend on the government. I am of the opinion that whichever party is in the government, keep the government away… The government is a poison girl… It sinks whoever it goes with…'
3. A king should be such that he can withstand criticism Nitin Gadkari said at a book launch event at the MIT World Peace University in Pune on September 20 that a Raja (ruler) should be one who tolerates those who speak against him. Introspection on Criticisms. This is the biggest test of democracy.
4. Opposition offered me support for PM post, I refused Gadkari had said on September 14 that once a leader offered him support for the post of Prime Minister. However, Gadkari rejected the offer stating that he had no such desire.
