Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Haryana today. He will launch 'Bima Sakhi' scheme of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in Panipat. For this, a big pandal has been set up on the Dussehra ground in Sector 13-17. Seating arrangements have been made for 32 thousand people. SPG security has been deployed for 2 km around the spot.
A high alert has also been declared on the Haryana-UP border. 13 district SPs, 40 DSPs and around 3.5 thousand police personnel have been deployed. 58 check points have been installed. 42 door frame metal detectors have been installed at the entrance of the pandal.
Some schools in Panipat have declared holiday in view of PM's visit. DC Virendra Kumar Dahiya says that this is not an administration order. This is the schools decision, we have no objection to it.
Earlier, Narendra Modi had come to Panipat on 22 January 2015. Where he started the 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' campaign to improve the gender ratio.
will lay the foundation stone of the horticultural university at Karnal
During the event, Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the main campus of Maharana Pratap Horticulture University, Karnal. This main campus is spread over 495 acres. Apart from this, 6 regional research centers will also be opened in it. On which more than 700 crores will be spent. The university will also have 5 schools with horticulture subjects, in addition to one university for graduate and post-graduate level studies.
3100 women will take out a procession 3100 women from religious, social, educational institutions and Sankirtan Mandal will sing invocation songs to welcome the PM. BJP district spokesperson Ved Parashar said that the women will gather at the community center of Yamuna Enclave. 2 parking spaces were created for vehicles
Administration has created 2 parking spaces for vehicles. As soon as you enter Sector 13-17 from GT Road, a parking lot has been constructed on 30 acres of vacant land. In which separate arrangements have been made for cars and buses. Cars will enter the parking via Sector 13-17 and buses will enter the parking near Anand Garden on GT Road. Here, after getting down from the vehicles, all will walk to the pandal door.
Parking for VIPs has been arranged near the helipad, 200 meters from the pandal.

Why is BJP focusing on women?
– Women voted more than men in 19 states and Union Territories this time. In which women remained ahead in voting in many other states and union territories including Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Goa, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh.
– The participation of women voters in Haryana elections has increased in the last 20 years. Over the past 20 years, women's voting has increased by about 11 percent. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, male voting percentage was 70.25 percent, while female voting was 69.55 percent. The difference between the two was only 0.72 percent.
If we look at the trend of male voting in 20 years, it has not increased much. In 20 years, the male voting percentage has increased by only 2.06 percent. However, the Election Commission is making many efforts to increase voter turnout.
– Women were ahead in voting in Sonepat and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seats. In Sonepat, the voting percentage of women was 70.61 percent, while the voting percentage of men was 70.52 percent. Similarly, in Bhiwani Mahendragarh, women's voting was 70.44 percent and men's 68.4 percent.
