The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a PIL alleging side effects like blood clotting due to the corona vaccine. A bench of Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra said the PIL was filed only to create sensation.
The bench said, 'Enter the class action suit! What is the benefit of this? Please also understand the side effects if you do not get the vaccine. We do not want to raise this issue, it is just to create sensation. The petition was filed by Priya Mishra and other petitioners.

British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca admitted in court in April that its Covid-19 vaccine could have dangerous side effects. However, this will happen only in very rare cases. The Serum Institute in India has developed a vaccine called Covishield from the same formula as AstraZeneca.
In documents submitted to the British High Court, the company has admitted that its corona vaccine can cause thrombosis thrombocytopenia syndrome, or TTS, in some cases. Due to this disease, the blood clots in the body and the number of platelets decreases.

The Economic Times has written a report citing research published in the science journal SpringerLink. According to research, side effects of Covaxin were seen in about one-third of the participants in a study conducted at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Respiratory infections, blood clots and skin related diseases were seen in these people. Researchers have found that teenagers, especially those who suffer from any allergies, are at risk from covaccin. Menstrual abnormalities (irregular periods) were observed in 4.6% of adolescent girls in the study. Eye abnormalities (2.7%) and hypothyroidism (0.6%) were also observed in participants. At the same time, stroke was also identified in 0.3% of participants and Guillain Barrie syndrome (GBS) was also identified in 0.1% of participants.
