PDP ready to join Congress-NC alliance: Farooq said- Good thing, the government of this alliance in the exit polls of Jammu and Kashmir

National Conference president Farooq Abdullah has expressed happiness that NC and Congress will form the government together after the exit polls for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections were declared. He said that PDP is ready to join us, this is very good.

In fact, after the exit polls came out, PDP leader Juhaib Yusuf Mir said that he was ready to form an alliance with the National Conference and the Congress to keep the BJP out of power.

Regarding this statement of the PDP leader, Farooq Abdullah said that he should be congratulated. His thinking is good, we are all on the same path. We have to end hatred and keep Jammu and Kashmir together.

The exit polls released on Saturday seem to indicate the formation of the NC-Congress government. 5 out of 10 polls show the National Conference-Congress alliance forming the government, while in 5 they are 10 to 15 seats away from a majority. The party hopes to get 40 seats. BJP can get 30 seats. PDP and others will get 10 seats each.

It will become an important part of the government. We have said earlier that we are ready to take any step to protect the identity of Kashmir. It is very important that we form a secular government that is against the BJP and not with it.

Mehbooba Mufti had said before the election – our agenda is the same

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti released the party's manifesto on August 24. Meanwhile, on the question of the support of the Congress and the National Conference, he said that the alliance between the two parties is not on the agenda but on seat sharing. We are ready for an alliance if both parties accept our party's agenda. We have only one agenda – to solve the problem of Jammu and Kashmir.

Congress promises ₹4000 unemployment allowance to farmers, ₹3500 to youth; Article 370 is not mentioned

As for Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress in its manifesto has spoken of restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. There is no mention of Article 370 in the entire manifesto. The party has announced additional financial assistance of Rs 4,000 per year to landless farmers and unemployment allowance of Rs 3,500 per month to unemployed youth for one year.
