Pakistan connection in Sambhal Masjid-Temple violence: Use of foreign cartridges, forensic team finds 2 misfires and 1 shell of Pakistan-made 9 MM

The Pakistani connection came to light in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal violence on Tuesday. The forensic team recovered 5 shells and 1 misfired cartridge from a drain in Kot Garvi area here. These kiosks are manufactured in Pakistan Ordnance Factory.

ASP Shreesh Chandra said that 2 misfires and 1 shell of 9 MM have been recovered from the Pakistan Ordnance Factory. Apart from this, 2 shells of 12 bore and 2 shells of 32 bore were found. A police team is currently conducting a search operation.

On November 19, the Hindu party claimed in the Chandausi court that the Shahi Jama Masjid was a Harihar temple. The matter reached the court. A crowd of thousands pelted stones and fired at the police during a survey of the mosque on November 24 following a court order. Five people were killed and more than 20 policemen were injured in the violence.

After the violence, the Sambhal police claimed that the miscreants had fired about 41 rounds.

CO Sambhal Anuj Chaudhary was also present at the spot along with the team. He was shot in the leg during the violence.

Sambhal SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that the survey was conducted on the morning of November 24. During that time there was violence. In which 4 people died. After which SIT was constituted. The SIT team has started its investigation. The team's analysts requested a forensic team. When the forensic team and the municipality investigated today, a very shocking thing came to light. In which one POF 9 mm, 68-26 and a case of fire were found. which is called a shell.

A FN, star-shaped miss fire was also found. It will be called Miss Fire because it has a striker mark on it. It seems he pulled it out while driving and it didn't fire, perhaps it was used to fire another round.

A shield of 12 bore diameter is found. On which is written Winchester Made in USA, number-12. Another one has it written on it – Special-12K. A total of 6 such cases of fire and misfire have been found. The discovery of Pakistani cartridges shows that this is a very serious matter. A police team is investigating. We will find people who have done this work. Many policemen have been injured. 4 people have died.

I hope, soon all the culprits will come out. All these were found while cleaning the drains. The Municipal Corporation has been called again. The municipality will reach here tomorrow morning. The arrested people are being interrogated. They have named some people. The police are seriously investigating the whole matter.

Now know how the violence broke out on November 24 The first survey of Sambhal's Jama Masjid was conducted on November 19 on a court order. The Hindu side claimed that the Jama Masjid was a Sri Harihar temple during the Mughal ruler Babur's time. Babur demolished it and converted it into a mosque.

The survey team again reached the mosque on November 24 at around 7:30 am. Police arrangements were made at Jama Masjid from 6 am. There was a commotion in the Muslim community after seeing the heavy force in the area. A rumor spread throughout the city that something was going to happen in the mosque today. Messages started going viral in the WhatsApp group. Gradually people living in other parts of the city also began to gather around the Jama Masjid.

By 8 am, a crowd of more than two thousand people had reached the Jama Masjid area. In which the number of people in the age group of 20 to 30 years was very high. A large number of miscreants were youths who were not residents of the Jama Masjid vicinity.

First they tried to stop the survey, then raised slogans, but the survey was completed peacefully. Seeing the crowd outside, the police took the surveillance team under their supervision and went to the police station. After the survey was completed, the crowd started pelting stones and the commotion escalated. Stones were pelted and fired from the roof.

Four Muslim youths lost their lives in the violence. In which around 25 policemen were injured. SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi's PRO and Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary were shot in the legs.

The police seized this double-edged knife from one of the accused of violence.

The police released the video after the violence SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi released about 10 videos related to the violence. The video was captured by a drone camera during the violence on the morning of November 24. The faces of the miscreants were covered with cloth. Some covered their faces with handkerchiefs and some with towels so that they could not be identified. They were pelting stones Kashmir style. In one of the videos, the miscreants tried to break the fuel cap of the car so as to set it on fire. In another video, miscreants also tried to destroy a drone camera flying over the Jama Masjid by pelting stones. However, due to the high height, the stone could not reach the drone camera.

When the drone was hovering over the stone pelters, it was pelted with stones.
