Now Pappu, Monu, Sonu all passed in Maths-Science…: Maharashtra Govt's Revolutionary Decision in Passing Marks; Students will now pass in 20 marks instead of 35 marks

Good news for all students…all students can pass in maths-science…Maharashtra government is going to take a revolutionary decision in passing marks. The Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has decided to reduce the passing marks of mathematics and science subjects in class 10. The board will reduce the passing marks for students from 35 marks to 20 marks. The decision has been announced in the new State Curriculum Framework School Education (SCF-SE) for Class 10.

The board will pass students despite low marks, but will not allow them to pursue higher education in mathematics and science. These students' certificates will declare them 'passed', but prevent them from taking courses related to mathematics and science in higher classes. Apart from these subjects, students will be free to pursue other courses in higher education.

Students interested in subjects like humanities and arts will get help This decision will give more flexibility to the students who scored low marks as they will now have the option to move to a new class with a note showing low marks or re-appear in the exam to improve their result.

The move is aimed at helping students interested in subjects like humanities and arts, who are forced to drop out if they fail to secure the minimum marks in class 10.

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) director Rahul Rekhawar said the change is part of the new curriculum framework which has already been approved by the school education department. Rekhawar said, 'This change has been made so that students are not unfairly excluded from the system.'
