On the evening of June 9, terrorists attacked a bus full of devotees near Terayath village.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday raided seven locations in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajouri and Reasi. The locations being searched are linked to hybrid terrorists and over-ground workers (OGW).
The raids are related to the June 9 terrorist attack on a bus in Riasi. Nine devotees were killed in this attack. The bus was going from Shiv Khori to Katra in Pauni area of Reasi.
The bus was stuck in the valley due to firing by terrorists. More than 40 people were injured in the attack, while 9 people, including a child, died.
The dead bodies of those killed in the terrorist attack were scattered on the spot.
The NIA has been investigating since June 17 On June 17, the Ministry of Home Affairs assigned the responsibility of investigating the terror attack to the NIA. The agency discovered five hideouts linked to hybrid terrorists and OGW. Meanwhile, these new locations were raided on Friday, September 27 following input from arrested accused Hakam Khan alias Hakeen Deen.
NIA investigation revealed that Hakam had given shelter, ammunition to terrorists. Subsequent investigations led to the seizure of several items linking the terrorists and OGW.
An Air Force convoy was attacked on May 4
A soldier was martyred in a terrorist attack on Air Force personnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch on May 4. Five soldiers were injured in the attack, who were airlifted to a hospital in Udhampur. One jawan died during treatment. While the condition of another jawan is critical.
Bullets fired by terrorists can be seen on the front windshield of the truck.
The attack took place in Shahsitar area of Poonch. The terrorists fired heavily at two vehicles of the security forces. One of these vehicles belonged to the Air Force. Both the vehicles were going towards Sanai Top. The terrorists' bullets went through the front and side glass of the vehicle.
