Scorpin submarine deal in final stages Regarding the preparations of the Indian Navy, Admiral Tripathi said that 41 warships are under construction while 31 warships have been approved. As a result, 94 new warships will be added to the navy in the near future. In addition, two large ships will arrive from Russia. One of the ships will be found in the month of December itself. Negotiations on the deal for Rafale-M fighter jets and 3 Scorpene submarines from France are in final stages.
