Monsoon tracker in the country: 4 rivers flood in MP, 100 villages cut off; 200 roads closed due to landslides in Uttarakhand, Chardham Yatra stopped

Asan, Kwari, Sindh and Chambal rivers flow in Gwalior-Chambal of Madhya Pradesh. Water is flowing over the bridges in many places. Due to which more than 100 villages have become unconnected. A tractor-trolley fell into a drain due to heavy rains in Morena. 3 people were stressed in it. One has been rescued, while the search for the other two is on. Also, a 6-year-old child died due to drowning in Dharmapura. It is also raining heavily in Bundelkhand of Uttar Pradesh. Rivers have flooded in Jalaun, Mahoba, Lalitpur. Jhansi has received 267mm of rain in 3 days. On the other hand, heavy rains in Uttarakhand for the last 24 hours have led to floods in rivers Ganga, Kosi and Kali. The administration has appealed people not to go to the river bank. 200 roads are also closed due to landslides. Chardham Yatra has been stopped. 6 pictures of rain from across the country… Monsoon likely to depart between September 19-25 The Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the Southwest Monsoon may depart between September 19 and 25. Monsoon generally starts departing from Northwest India from September 17. Monsoon season ends by October 15 across India. The Meteorological Department said that the country has received 836.7 mm of rainfall so far in the monsoon season which started from June 1. This is 8% more than the normal rainfall (772.5 mm) during this period. 11 states are likely to receive 7 cm of rain on September 15
