Heavy rains in Telangana have led to flooding in 29 districts. Since August 31 till now 29 people have died due to rain. 5,438 crore rupees has been lost due to floods in the state. In this monsoon season, Rajasthan received a total rainfall of 626.7 mm from June 1 to September 7, which is 57 percent more than the normal rainfall (398.5 mm). Several roads in Ajmer and Jaipur were flooded due to heavy rain on Saturday. In Jaipur, it took more than 6 hours for people to cover a distance of 30 km. The water level of Pushkar lake in Ajmer has also increased. 52 ghats of the lake were submerged in water.
