Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Maharashtra on Saturday. He performed puja at Jagdamba Mata temple in Pohradevi, Washim and played traditional drums. After this, tributes were paid to the tombs of Sant Sevalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj.
After this, PM Modi inaugurated the Banjara Heritage Museum in Washim. PM Modi today in Maharashtra Rs. 56,000 crore will launch several development projects. In Modi Washim, about Rs. 23,300 crore will launch schemes related to agriculture and animal husbandry sector. In Thane Rs. will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of development projects worth over 32,800 crores.
After this, PM Mumbai spent around Rs. 14,120 crore will inaugurate the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) to Aray Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) section of Mumbai Metro Line-3. Modi will also ride the metro between BKC and Santacruz stations.

Inauguration of these projects in Washim…
- As per the PM's schedule, he will distribute the 18th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi worth around Rs 20,000 crore to 9.4 crore farmers of Washim. With this, the total amount released to farmers under PM-Kisan will be approximately Rs 3.45 lakh crore.
- Modi will also launch the 5th installment of Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana and Rs. 2,000 crore will be distributed. Under the Prime Minister's Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Rs. 1,920 crore will dedicate more than 7,500 projects to the country. These include custom hiring centers, primary processing units, warehouses, sorting and grading units, cold storage projects, post harvest management projects.
- Modi about Rs. 9,200 will dedicate to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) with a combined turnover of Rs 1,300 crore. Apart from this, they will launch a unified genomic chip and indigenous sex-sorted sperm technology for cattle. The initiative aims to increase the availability of sex-sorted semen at affordable prices to farmers and reduce the cost per dose to around Rs. 200 is to be reduced.
- The unified genomic chip has been developed with GAUCHIP for indigenous cattle and MAHISHCHIP for buffalo genotyping services. Through genomic selection, high quality bulls can be developed at an early age.
