The Cabinet was expanded on Thursday, 7 days after Hemant Soren became CM, but the division of departments could not be done for 26 hours. The main reason for this is the alleged letter of Congress National Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal. It is being said that the Congress leader's alleged letter spoiled the whole game.
On Friday at 2 pm, the portfolios of ministers were distributed. In fact, yesterday on December 5, Venugopal wrote a letter to CM Hemant Soren, in which he clearly wrote which department should be given to which Congress minister. A copy of this letter was also sent to state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh. The state president also confirmed the receipt of the letter.
According to sources, a discussion has started in the government after this letter went viral. Many kinds of speculations started happening. After this, it was the Congress that suggested the Chief Minister not to divide the departments. After this there was confusion till late on Thursday night.
According to the viral letter, all the departments that Congress National Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal has asked CM Hemant Soren to give to the Congress belong to the Congress, which he got in the previous government.
This alleged letter of KC Venugopal did not lead to division of departments.
