Chief Minister Biren Singh has given a statement for the first time after violence started again in Manipur. He said that because of P Chidambaram's policies, violence has started again in Manipur.
Showing an old picture of Chidambaram, Biren Singh said- the recent violence in Manipur is happening because of illegal immigrants from Myanmar. They came to Manipur for drug trade and are now trying to control the entire North-East.
When Chidambaram was the Union Home Minister in the UPA government, he signed agreements between more than 12 Kuki terrorist groups and the central-state governments. O Ibobi of Congress was then the Chief Minister of Manipur.

In response to this post, Biren Singh said- I am laughing after seeing Chidambaram's post. I want to remind them through these pictures that it was they who allowed these foreigners to enter India and Manipur. Chidambaram also made pacts with underground groups of illegal immigrants.

Biren Singh said- The search for the killers of 6 people continues Biren Singh said – The search is on for the killers of 3 women and 3 innocent children in Jiribam. The government will not rest until they are caught. There is no place for such barbaric killing in any society. I guarantee these cookie terrorists are being hunted down.
They will be given justice soon. We will not rest until they are held accountable for their actions. Around 40 to 50 heavily armed militants attacked people living in a camp in Borobekara and targeted a police station in Jiribam, Biren Singh said.
Their purpose was to spread fear. However, the CRPF personnel deployed there shot dead those 10 terrorists on the spot. Due to which the lives of hundreds of people living in the camp were saved.
Curfew eased in 3 districts, internet restored Curfew has been relaxed in three districts of Manipur's Imphal Valley on Tuesday. The government conditionally lifted the ban on broadband services three days later. Mobile internet is still banned.
Curfew was relaxed from 5 am to 10 pm in Imphal East, West and Kakching to facilitate purchase of essential commodities. Public gatherings, agitations and protests are prohibited.
Commission to hand over inquiry report on Manipur violence The central government had given time till November 20 to the commission probing the Manipur violence. The panel may submit its report today. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded President Draupadi Murmu's intervention on the Manipur issue. The 2-page letter says that you are the guardian of the constitution, so intervene soon.
Demonstrations took place in districts of Manipur on Tuesday against the imposition of AFSPA, during which the army was tasked with curbing the violence.
24 hour ultimatum to state government The Coordination Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has given a 24-hour ultimatum to review the legislators' proposals. If that is not done, then he threatened to launch a fierce agitation.

Coffin March was taken out in support of Kuki terrorists The Kuki community has been protesting continuously demanding justice for 10 Kuki militants killed in an encounter with security forces on November 11 in Manipur. On Tuesday too, hundreds of people marched with 10 empty coffins in Jiribam and Churachandpur districts.
The rally was organized by Joint Philanthropic Organization (JPO).
Last week, the Borobekara police station in Jiribam and the CRPF camp in nearby Jakuradhor were indiscriminately fired upon by uniformed militants. Ten suspected militants were subsequently killed in an encounter with security forces. However, the Kuki community maintains that they were village volunteers.
Why the situation worsened again in Manipur?
- November 11: Security forces killed 10 Kuki militants in Jiribam. During the encounter, Kuki militants abducted 6 Meites (3 women, 3 children).
- November 15-16: The bodies of five of the six abductees were recovered.
- 16 November: The houses of CM N Biren Singh and BJP MLAs were attacked. At the same time, 19 BJP MLAs, including several ministers, wrote to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) demanding the removal of CM Biren Singh.
- November 17: The situation worsened after Meitei protesters were shot dead by the police in Jiribam district during the night. CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh reached Manipur on November 17 to take stock of the violence.
- November 18: The body of the last kidnapped woman was found.
Violent incidents took place in Manipur in November
- 11 November: Militants fired from a hill on farmers working in the fields in Manipur's Yaingangpokpi Shantikhongban area, killing one farmer and injuring several others.
- November 9-10: On November 10, firing incidents took place in Sansabi, Sabungkhok Khunau and Thamnapokpi areas of Imphal East district. On November 9, a 34-year-old woman was killed by militants in Saiton in Bishnupur district. The woman was working in the field at the time of the incident.
- 8 November: Six houses were burnt down by armed militants in Jairawan village of Jiribam district. Villagers alleged that the attackers also opened fire. A woman died in this incident. The deceased woman was identified as Josangkim Humar (31). He has 3 children. Villagers alleged that the attackers belonged to the Meetei community. After the incident, many people left the house and ran away.
- 7 November: A woman belonging to the Humar caste was killed by suspected terrorists. They also set fire to houses in Jiribam. In the police case, her husband has alleged that she was raped before being burnt alive. A day later, a woman from the Meitei community was shot dead by suspected Kuki insurgents.
560 days of violence in Manipur The violence between Kuki-Meiti has been going on for more than 560 days. During this period, 237 people have died, more than 1500 people have been injured, 60 thousand people have left their homes and live in relief camps. About 11 thousand FIRs were registered and 500 people were arrested.
During this time there were incidents like naked parade of women, gang rape, burning alive and throat slitting. Even now Manipur is divided into two parts. There are Kukis in the hill districts and Meitis in the plains districts. Boundaries are drawn between the two, crossing means death.
