A young man arrived outside CM House in Patna with a burning effigy in his hand. The policemen present outside the CM House snatched the effigy from his hands and detained him. In one case, the youth was angry because the police did not take action. The Chief Minister was having a meeting with the NDA leaders when the youth reached outside the CM House with effigy burning.
Nitish Kumar's meeting with NDA leaders concluded at the Chief Minister's residence at 1 Annie Marg. All Union Ministers, State Government Ministers, MPs and MLAs of Bihar were present in this meeting which lasted for about two and a half hours. Apart from this, leaders of BJP, JDU, LJP (R), HAM parties were also present in this meeting.
The big thing is that Pashupati Paras was not invited for this meeting. In such a situation, he seems to be out of NDA.
Before the meeting, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said, 'Meanwhile, there will be a discussion on how to maintain rapport with all parties from the party to the booth. By-elections and assembly elections will also be discussed.
All NDA MLAs, MPs and district presidents were present during the meeting held at the CM's residence in Patna on Monday.
This meeting has taken place at a time when by-elections are to be held on November 13 on 4 assembly seats. It is believed that CM Nitish called this meeting to try for good results of NDA in the by-elections.
At the same time, if party sources are to be believed, the motive behind the meeting of the party's district presidents is to ensure that the NDA goes into the polls with full alertness. The entire clan should vote for NDA candidates. An alliance of NDA constituent party workers was also seen at the polling booths.
The BJP MP said, the election strategy will be discussed in the meeting Former Union Minister BJP MP Rajeev Pratap Rudy has termed this as a big seat. He said, 'The election strategy will be discussed in the meeting. The chief minister himself has called the meeting. We are connecting. There will be brainstorming on how to win the elections and we will form the government with a majority.'
Saran MP Rajeev Pratap Rudy also reached the NDA meeting.
India alliance has 3 out of 4 seats By-elections are being held on 4 seats of Bihar. Out of these 4 seats, 3 are held by India Alliance. NDA has only one seat, Imamganj. The Imamganj assembly seat was taken by the Hindustani Awam Morcha. Former CM and Union Minister Jitanram Manjhi was MLA from here. He has become an MP.
RJD's state president Jagdanand Singh's son Sudhakar Singh from Ramgarh assembly seat, CPI(ML)'s Sudama Prasad from Tarri assembly seat and RJD's Surendra Yadav from Belaganj seat won the 2020 assembly elections.
