Maharashtra Mahavikas Aghadi will finalize seat sharing today: meeting to decide on all 288 assembly seats; Sanjay Raut said – Consensus has been reached on 210 seats

Congress state president Nana Patole said on Monday that the first list of the Congress for the Maharashtra assembly elections will be announced on Tuesday.

Maharashtra Mahavikas Aghadi (Congress-Shiv Sena Uddhav and NCP Sharad Pawar) meeting will be held in Mumbai today. In this all 288 assembly seat sharing of Maharashtra will be finalized.

On Monday, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has agreed on 210 out of 288 assembly seats. We will fight the election as a force and defeat the looters of Maharashtra. MVA consists of Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress and Sharad Pawar's NCP (SP).

Raut's statement came at a time when Uddhav Thackeray's party was in talks to split from the MVA. It is being said that the party can single-handedly contest all 288 seats. 17 MVA seats are still up for debate. We are in dispute with the Thackeray group on some seats. There are three parties in the coalition. Distribution of seats among the three parties takes time.

It is believed that Uddhav's party and Congress are staking their claims on seven seats in Vidarbha. Meanwhile, Congress state president Nana Patole said on Monday that the first list of Congress candidates will be announced tomorrow (October 22).

At that time, the undivided Shiv Sena accused the BJP of not keeping its promise of giving the post of chief minister. Whereas, BJP has always denied any such agreement.

When asked about the phone conversation, Raut said – BJP is spreading false news. They are afraid of defeat, that is why fake news is being spread. BJP toppled Shiv Sena, toppled Uddhav Thackeray's government. He ensured that the party name and election symbol got to the Shinde group. The worst thing BJP did was to hand over the reins of government to traitors. Since then they are looting Maharashtra.

SP's Maharashtra state president and MLA Abu Asim Azmi said- We have announced five candidates so that MVA knows that we are strong here, otherwise they will say in the meeting that your candidate is not strong.
