Lawrence's brother conspired to kill Baba Siddiqui: Police said – Canada-based Anmol conducted reiki of Siddiqui's house

The conspiracy to kill NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was hatched by Lawrence's brother Anmol, who was stationed in Canada. According to a Times report, the Mumbai Crime Branch said Anmol's conspiracy came to light during the interrogation of murder accused Ramful Kanjoya and Nitin Sapre. Anmol carried out the attack through another accused Sujit Sushil Singh alias Dabu. He was arrested from Ludhiana on Friday (October 25). Weapons have also been seized from him. Dabbu was the link between Anmol and the shooters. He ordered weapons from Rajasthan and delivered them to the shooters. On the night of October 12, Baba Siddiqui was shot dead outside his son Jeeshan's office, but a month before that, Dabbu had also raided Siddiqui's house. Police suspect that Anmol sent pictures of Baba Siddiqui and his son Jeeshan to 3 suspected shooters through Snapchat. The shooters involved in the murder practiced shooting in the forest Mumbai Police said that the shooters also practiced shooting in the forest near Karjat-Khopoli Road. According to police, the shooters fired at a tree near a waterfall in Raigad district before targeting Baba Siddiqui. The accused fired five to ten bullets at the tree during practice. The shooters did this practice in September this year. One of the accused said – demanded 1 crore rupees for the murder Mumbai Crime Branch said that one of the accused arrested in this case, Ram Kanojia, said during interrogation that the contract to kill the NCP leader was first given to him and he demanded 1 crore rupees for it.
