Kolkata rape-murder accused says- Police commissioner framed me: shouted from police van- Vineet Goyal hatched a conspiracy

The trial of this case has started in Kolkata's Sealdah Court from today. After the hearing, the accused shouted from the window of the police station that he was being framed.

​​​​​​​Sanjay Roy, the main accused in the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor in RG Kar College, Kolkata, has once again held the Mamata government responsible for the entire incident. This time he named Vineet Goyal, who was the Commissioner of Police at the time of the incident.

As he was being taken back after being produced in the Sealdah court on Monday (November 11), he shouted in the police van that it was Vineet Goyal who had masterminded the entire incident and had framed me.

Earlier on November 4, Sanjay first accused Mamata Sarkar. When Sanjay was taken out by the police after being produced in the Sealdah court, he was first seen on camera saying that the Mamata government was framing him. He has been threatened not to open his mouth.

On the night of August 8, a doctor girl was raped and murdered at RG Kar Hospital. The victim's body was found on August 9. On August 10, the police arrested Sanjay Roy. On November 4, the Sealdah court framed charges against Sanjay from Kolkata.

The junior doctors demanded the resignation of Vineet Gayel The junior doctors went on a 42-day strike from August 10 to September 21 to protest the rape-murder incident. The doctors had earlier placed 5 demands before the government. One of these was the demand for the resignation of Vineet Goyal. Out of which the government accepted 3 demands. On September 17, Vineet Goyal was removed from the post of commissioner. CM Mamata assured to consider two other demands and conditions.

After this, the doctors ended their strike. He returned to work in hospitals. On 27 September, a case of thrashing of 3 doctors and 3 nurses at Sagar Dutta Hospital came to light, which angered the doctors and resumed the strike from 1 October.

On 4 October, the junior doctors called off the strike, but the sit-in continued. He said that we are returning to work as government hospitals are facing problems with large number of patients. However, he gave a 24-hour ultimatum to the state government. After this he started a hunger strike.

The CBI named the accused in the charge sheet The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has named Sanjay Roy as the main accused in its charge sheet. Apart from this, this case has been called a case of rape instead of gang-rape. The chargesheet also said that the sample of Seaman and blood found from the victim's body matched that of the accused. After forensic investigation, the hair recovered from the crime scene also matched the hair of the accused.

CBI's charge sheet includes statements of 100 witnesses, 12 polygraph test reports, CCTV footage, forensic report, mobile call details and location. Apart from this, on the day of the incident, the accused's earphones and mobiles were connected through Bluetooth. This has also been considered as important evidence in the charge sheet.

The accused Sanjay was a civic volunteer. The police arrested him on August 10. The picture is from the same day.

The matter has reached the Supreme Court It is to be noted that the Supreme Court had directed to increase the security of the doctors acting in this matter and to create favorable conditions at the workplace. The Calcutta High Court handed over the investigation of the case from the Calcutta Police to the CBI.

CBI has arrested Sanjay Roy as the only accused in this case. However, former principal Sandeep Ghosh has also been arrested for his involvement in the case.
