Kejriwal said- No alliance with Congress in Delhi assembly elections: AAP will contest elections alone; Shah responsible for the bad law and order situation in Delhi

Arvind Kejriwal held BJP and Amit Shah responsible for water thrown on him during the padayatra on Saturday.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest the Delhi Assembly elections alone. There will be no alliance with Congress party.

The tenure of the Delhi Assembly ends on February 23. That means assembly elections can be announced anytime in January next year. Elections will be held in February and a new government will be formed.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, AAP and Congress are part of an opposition alliance in India. Both contested the Lok Sabha elections together in Delhi. However, both the parties did not get a single seat in this. AAP and Congress could not reach a seat-sharing agreement ahead of the Haryana assembly elections in October. After this, both contested elections separately.

Kejriwal said- Shah responsible for the water throwing incident Kejriwal has also held the BJP and Home Minister Amit Shah responsible for the incident of water being thrown on him during the padayatra on Saturday. He said that I thought Amit Shah would give instructions to take concrete steps to improve the law and order situation in Delhi but he attacked me.

He said- Businessmen in Delhi are receiving extortion calls. If the money is not paid, the law and order situation in Delhi is deteriorating in the last 2-3 years.

Earlier on Friday, Kejriwal questioned Home Minister Amit Shah on law and order in Panchsheel Park on Saturday. He said – I want to ask Amit Shah – when will you take action against this? Ever since he became the home minister, the situation in Delhi has been going from bad to worse.

He said that one and a half years ago, Balyan was receiving continuous calls. Ransom was being demanded from them. The family and children were threatened with death.

After this, Balyan also lodged a complaint with the police. Kejriwal also showed a copy of the FIR. He said that Naresh Balian received several calls from Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu.
