Kejriwal didn't like Gehlot's friendship with LG: first objected, then sidelined; Inside Story of Former Minister Quitting AAP

Kailash Gehlot resigned from the Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday and joined the BJP on Monday. He attributed this to the corruption allegations against the party and the controversy arising out of government money spent on the CM's residence 'Sheeshmahal'. According to AAP sources, the reason for Kailash's resignation was his growing friendship with LG VK Saxena.

According to sources, the resignation comes at a time when the friendship between Gehlot and Delhi LG VK Saxena has started troubling AAP. Whenever Kejriwal's government accused the LG of stopping any scheme, Gehlot's party was seen more with the governor than the party.

Kejriwal also taunted Gehlot in several meetings about this friendship, but Gehlot never responded to the allegation. Delhi's LG Gehlot and Kejriwal continued to bite like a thorn.

After Manish Sisodia went to jail, Kejriwal did not trust Gehlot and made Atishi his right-hand man. From here the game of pushing each other between Kejriwal and Gehlot started. In the situation that arose, LG played a major role in bringing Gehlot to the BJP.

Kailash Gehlot submitted his resignation to Delhi CM Atishi.

Understand the story behind Gehlot's resignation in 6 points…

  1. Kejriwal gave the first blow to Gehlot When Manish Sisodia went to jail, everyone thought that Gehlot would be given his ministry, but all the ministries were given to Atishi. This was the first time Gehlot was downgraded in front of everyone in the party. This was Gehlot's first blow from the party.
  2. Gehlot was going to join BJP only after Manish Sisodia went to jail According to an AAP source, Gehlot decided to quit the party when Manish Sisodia went to jail, but for some reason he did not. According to a Delhi BJP source, the party asked Gehlot to wait. When there was a shock of 440 volts, BJP wanted to induct an important AAP leader into the party.
  3. Gehlot gave another jolt to the Aam Aadmi Party Gehlot did not openly oppose Kejriwal's blow, but another blow to the Kejriwal government came from his side. Kejriwal was in jail. They wanted to hoist the flag on 15th August 2024 with firecrackers. Instructions were also issued from the jail in this regard, but the LG of Delhi canceled this order of Kejriwal. They chose Gehlot to hoist the flag instead of Atishi. Gehlot chose LG Saxena's orders over those of the party's top leadership. He chose this opportunity to avenge the humiliation of attracting Atishi's attention. Gehlot followed the LG's order without giving any explanation to the party.
  4. Gehlot and Kejriwal face each other Kailash Gehlot and former CM Arvind Kejriwal came face to face after the flag hoisting incident. Gehlot knew that he could not survive here any longer. Gehlot was often accused of being a BJP worker in AAP. He was kept out of every decision of the party. In his place, Saurabh Bhardwaj grabbed attention along with Atishi. Even when Kejriwal went to jail, Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj held all the press conferences. Kailash Gehlot was absent from this conference. Or say they were kept away from these conferences.
  5. The work of Gehlot's department in the LG office never stopped When the entire Aam Aadmi Party was targeting Delhi LG VK Saxena and terming him as a hindrance in the work of Delhi, Gehlot's departments never stopped working. Be it inaugurating new buses or laying foundation stones of new schemes, LG Saksena was seen everywhere. The LG also approved the plan to organize a pilgrimage for the people of Delhi on Gehlot's initiative. This was not acceptable to Kejriwal either. The relationship between Gehlot and LG was evident.
  6. Atishi made CM, Kejriwal's shock to Gehlot Kejriwal made Atishi the new CM of Delhi. While Gehlot was the main contender on the basis of seniority. Even within the party, everyone was unanimous on Gehlot's name, but suddenly Atishi's name was presented in the MLA meeting. Neither opinion was taken from the party MLAs regarding this decision nor any explanation was given regarding the decision to make Atishi the Chief Minister. If sources are to be believed, Gehlot was still in a mood to quit AAP, but the BJP asked him to wait longer. Gehlot also did not want to leave the party with the image that he was not made the CM, so he became upset with the party.

Kailash Gehlot joined BJP on 18 November.

What will Gehlot do in BJP? Assembly elections are due in Delhi next year. In such a situation, Gehlot will become a big star of BJP. Although it is not yet clear which post BJP will give him, it is certain that Gehlot will be a big face in Delhi. He will be given the responsibility of running an open campaign against the Aam Aadmi Party.

Preparations for protests in Delhi after Gehlot's entry Gehlot was the Transport Minister in the Delhi government. As soon as he joined the BJP, preparations for protests at bus stations have started. A leader of the employees union of DTC buses said- The strike of women employees has started at Sarojini Nagar bus stand.

He further said that these are women who were promised to be drivers and conductors, but were not paid the same wages as men. There is a difference of 12-13 thousand rupees in the salary of women and men.

Gehlot will attack Kejriwal's plan After Gehlot's resignation, protests have started by DTC employees. In which Gehlot himself and BJP leaders and workers will participate. According to BJP sources, the Aam Aadmi Party will be exposed from here. Gehlot will expose scams in AAP's schemes.

In the last Lok Sabha elections, Kejriwal promised to give one thousand rupees per month to the women of Delhi. Preparations are underway to repeat the same promise in the next assembly elections. Kejriwal has introduced free bus travel scheme for women. In such a situation, there are speculations that Gehlot will try to reduce the image of Kejriwal.

It will include leaders joining BJP from AAP. In which there are names like Rajkumar Anand, Ratnesh Gupta. This team will tell the inside stories of AAP on the election platform.
