Karnataka Housing Minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan has called the state's former CM and Union Heavy Industries Minister HD Kumaraswamy 'Kalia'. Khan had come to campaign for Congress candidate CP Yogeshwar in the Channapatna assembly seat by-election. Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Kumaraswamy is contesting from Janata Dal Secular (JDS) from here.
Khan said during a rally in Ramnagar – CP Yogeshwar joined BJP, but he has returned to Congress. Due to differences with the party before the assembly elections, he contested as an independent candidate. Later he joined BJP.
Khan said, Yogeshwar has no option but to join BJP. He was not willing to join JDS because 'Kalia Kumaraswamy' was more dangerous than BJP. Now he (Yogeshwar) has returned home.'

JDS demanded Khan's removal from ministerial post JDS demanded the removal of Zamir Ahmed Khan from the cabinet. JDS said- Minister's statement is 'racist'. The party told Khan – You should know the color of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, HC Mahadevappa, Satish Jarkiholi, Priyank Kharge and KH Muniyappa.
Khan clarified – I was called Kulla Clarifying his statement, Zamir Ahmed Khan said- Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy used to call me 'Kulla' (dwarf). I have been calling the Union Minister 'Kariyanna' (black brother) for a long time. I did not intend to hurt anyone.
On Monday, Congress candidate C.P. in Channapatna city. An election meeting was held for Yogeshwar, which was attended by CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar along with Minister Zaheer Ahmed Khan.
CM Siddaramaiah said- PM should prove the allegation of embezzlement of 700 crores Here Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has challenged Prime Minister Modi. CM said- PM alleged during rally in Maharashtra that Karnataka government has collected 700 crore rupees from electoral states. I will retire from politics if PM proves the allegations. If he cannot prove the allegations, he should resign from the post of Prime Minister.
PM said in Akola rally – Recovery doubled in Congress ruled states During a rally in Maharashtra's Akola on November 9, PM Modi accused the Congress of embezzling Rs 700 crore from liquor shops in Karnataka. PM said- Wherever Congress government is formed, that state becomes an ATM for Congress royal family. These days ATMs are available in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana. The PM said in the rally that the Congress has looted Rs 700 crores from the liquor shopkeepers of Karnataka for the elections in Maharashtra.
