Counting of votes for 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand will start from 8 am. The first trend will come at nine o'clock. Voting was held in two phases on November 13 and 20. 67.74% people voted. This is the highest since the formation of the state. 66.4% voting from 2019.
First Torpa and last Chatra will be the result of assembly. Because minimum count in Torpa will be 13 rounds and maximum count in Chatra will be 27 rounds. Separate halls have been constructed for counting of postal ballots and counting of EVM votes. All the postal ballots have been sent to the respective assembly constituencies.
According to the statistics of the Election Commission, 1211 candidates were in the fray including both the phases. In which criminal cases have been registered against 359 millionaires and 322 candidates. Elections were announced in Jharkhand on October 15.

Coalition politics from both sides for the first time For the first time in Jharkhand, both the major parties BJP and JMM contested the elections in an alliance. BJP formed an alliance with AJSU, JDU and Chirag Paswan's LJPR. While JMM is with Congress, RJD and ML.
If we look at NDA's seat sharing formula, BJP has contested on 68 seats, AJSU on 10, JDU on 2 and LJP(R) on one seat. While in NDIA block, JMM has fielded candidates on 43 seats, Congress on 30, RJD on 6 and CPI (ML) on 4 seats. 3 of them are friendly fights between parties included in the India Bloc on Dhanwar, Vishrampur and Chhatarpur.
Hemant won in 2019 In the 2019 assembly elections, JMM won 30 seats, Congress 16 and RJD one. There was an alliance of the three parties. After that JMM leader Hemant Soren became Chief Minister. BJP got 25 seats.
8 exit polls came in Jharkhand. Out of them, BJP is expected to form the government in coalition 4 while India is expected to form the government in coalition 2. The remaining 2 exit polls have shown the possibility of a hung assembly.
Hemant took oath as CM twice in 5 years, Champai joined BJP In 2019, JMM, Congress and RJD together won 47 seats and formed the government. On January 31, Hemant was arrested in the land scam. JMM's Champai Soren was made the Chief Minister in his place on February 2. 37 JMM-Congress MLAs were shifted to Hyderabad to ensure that the coalition government does not fall.
Hemant got bail after 5 months in jail. Champai resigned on 3 July. On 4 July, Hemant was sworn in as the CM of Jharkhand for the third time. On 28 May Champai resigned from the JMM accusing Hemant Sarkar of spying on him. Champai joined the BJP on August 30.
