Air India flight AI-2022 departed from Paris to Delhi at 10 pm on Sunday.
The pilot of the Air India international flight coming from Paris to Delhi left him in Jaipur. The pilot said his duty was over. More than 180 passengers on board the flight were disturbed for 9 hours at the Jaipur airport. After this he was sent to Delhi by road.
Air India flight AI-2022 departed from Paris to Delhi at 10 pm on Sunday. It was supposed to reach Delhi at 10.35 am on Monday. The flight could not land in Delhi due to bad weather.
On the instructions of the air traffic control system, the pilot landed the flight at Jaipur Airport at 12:10. The pilots waited for clearance from the air traffic control system for the flight.
The approval was not received till afternoon. The pilot left the plane citing completion of duty time. Because of this, more than 180 passengers present in the flight remained disturbed at Jaipur airport till 9 pm.
The passengers created an uproar The passengers created an uproar due to the delay. They were demanding to arrange another flight. The airlines did not accept his demand, instead giving him the option of sending him by bus to Delhi. Food was provided to them. Later, some passengers left for Delhi by airline buses and some by private vehicles.
Most of the flights are being diverted to Jaipur due to bad weather in Delhi.
Jaipur became Delhi's alternate airport In May, parking lanes were extended at Jaipur Airport. Earlier, 19 aircraft could be parked at Jaipur airport. Also, there can now be 36 plane parks.
A parallel taxi-way has also been prepared along with this. So, due to bad weather in Delhi, most of the flights are now being diverted to Jaipur. In this situation, 29 flights have been diverted at Jaipur airport since November 13.

It includes flights to cities like Indore, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Washington, Dharamshala, Paris and Vijayawada. However, most of these flights left for Delhi within hours of getting clearance from the air traffic control system.
The flight from Paris could not get clearance for a long time. Due to which more than 180 passengers faced difficulties at Jaipur airport.
