A 7-year-old boy was hit by a car while trying to steal a kite in Rajasthan's Sikar. He landed bonnet first after being bounced by a car. Then fell on the road. After this the road sloped for about 40 feet. In the accident, Masoom has suffered a serious head injury.
The incident took place on the evening of December 6 in Losal police station area of Sikar. The CCTV footage of which has come to light. Currently, the child is undergoing treatment at Jaipur's SMS Hospital.
Police said – no complaint has been registered in this matter. The injured child has been identified as Shivam Bakolia (7), son of Ghasiram, resident of Ward No. 10. Action will be taken in this matter after filing the complaint.
After the collision with the car, Shivam fell on the road for about 40 feet.
The accident happened 500 meters away from the house Shivam's uncle Shravan Kumar said – after returning from school, he went to fly kites with his friends. He ran to the road 500 meters from home to catch the cut kite. He was running looking at the sky. In the meantime, he collided with a car.
After the accident, the driver got down and took care of the child.
The child's father has been missing for two years Shivam's uncle Shravan Kumar said that family members reached on information from nearby people and took him to SK Hospital in Sikar. From where he was referred to Jaipur's SMS Hospital on December 7. Shivam has suffered a severe head injury, due to which he has difficulty speaking. Shivam studies in third standard. He has an elder and a younger brother. Father Ghasiram has been missing for almost 2 years.
