India and US Army exercise in desert: Will practice defense against enemy drone attacks; American rocket system main attraction

A joint military exercise of the Indian and US armies has begun at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan's Bikaner on Monday. America's High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is being demonstrated for the first time. The firing range of this artillery is 310 kilometers. During the Ukraine war, attacks with Russian ammunition were carried out with this system. This is the largest ever exercise at the Mahajan Field Firing Range. In which a total of 1200 soldiers of India and America are participating. The military exercise started today at 10:30 am with a parade ceremony. The flags of both the countries were hoisted. 600 soldiers of India's South Western Command and 600 of America are participating in this exercise to protect against enemy drone attacks. Soldiers of both countries will practice several tactics including encircling and killing the enemy for 15 days together. Meanwhile, airborne and heliborne operations will be conducted. Apart from finding and killing terrorists hiding in the village, survival from drone attacks will also be practiced. The exercise, which will learn to use each other's weapons, is aimed at enhancing the internal capabilities of both armies and strengthening their ability to work together if needed. Joint maneuvers include a number of military tactics and joint exercises that aim to exchange capabilities and capabilities with each other. The exercise is considered important considering the growing defense ties between India and the US. America's Rocket System Main attraction US Army's High Mobility Artillery Rocket System is the highlight of this exercise. This system has been used against Russia in Ukraine. It is easy to transport in C-130 aircraft. A rocket can be prepared in just 20 seconds. All rockets can be fired in 45 seconds. These are contained in a single pod with six multiple-launch rocket systems. Its strike range is about 310 kilometers. Known as Army Tactical Missile (ATACMC). The system was used extensively against Russian targets during the 2022 war in Ukraine, successfully destroying numerous Russian command posts, ammunition stores, troops and armored vehicles, and bridges. This system is capable of precision attacks over long distances. India will also showcase its new generation weapons during the exercise. Emphasis is placed on integrating sophisticated technology into joint military operations. The armies of the two countries are conducting military exercises together for the 20th time. This is the 20th time that the armies of the two countries are practicing together using weapons. After the United Nations order, the two countries started the exercise together. Soldiers from both countries participate in the exercise, once in India and once in America. Earlier, the exercise was held in February 2021 at the Mahajan Field Firing Range. In this exercise, India will showcase its indigenous weapons, while America will showcase its range of superior weapons. The military exercise will continue from dawn to dusk The soldiers of both the countries will now be engaged in combat drills every day from the time they wake up in the morning to the time they go to sleep at night. In the morning the soldiers will walk and run. Apart from this, firing and artillery training will also be given in the morning. There are 9 Rajput infantry armies of India.
