In the matter of mob lynching, Rahul said- Attacks on Muslims continue: In the BJP government, miscreants are allowed to go, the government machinery is watching the scene as a silent spectator.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has targeted the BJP government over the mob lynching incidents in Haryana and Maharashtra. Rahul said that the miscreants have got an open license from the BJP government, that's why they have so much courage. Attacks on minorities and Muslims in particular continue and the government machinery stands by as a silent spectator. Rahul further said that no matter how hard the BJP tries, we will win the battle to unite India against hate. Rahul said- BJP is creating an atmosphere of fear in the country Rahul says that the BJP party is climbing the ladder of power by using hatred as a political weapon and is creating an atmosphere of fear in the country. Criminals are openly spreading violence in the form of mobs and they have an open license from the BJP government. Strict action should be taken against such criminals. An old man was attacked in a train on suspicion of having beef in Maharashtra An incident of attack on an old man in a running train has come to light in Maharashtra. Fellow passengers slapped and abused the old man, accusing him of carrying beef. Meanwhile, the rest of the people sitting in the train were silently watching this scene. The incident took place a few days ago in Dhule Express near Igatpuri. After his video surfaced, Thane GRP registered an FIR against more than five passengers. AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jamil condemned the government and the police while sharing the video. Youth beaten up in Haryana on suspicion of eating beef A youth was beaten up on suspicion of eating beef in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri. The incident took place on 27th August. His video surfaced on Saturday (August 31). In the video, some people are beating the youth with sticks. Police arrested 7 accused in this case on August 29, out of which two are minors. The minors have been sent to juvenile homes. CM Naib Singh Saini said that this incident is unfortunate. He also said that people have respect for mother cow. In such a situation, people should not engage in activities that hurt the religious sentiments of the people. Death penalty for mob lynching in new law The new criminal law has made a separate law on mob lynching. Under this Act, offenses causing bodily harm are covered under Sections 100-146. In case of mob lynching, minimum imprisonment of 7 years is possible. There is also provision for life imprisonment or death penalty. Apart from this, a case will be registered under section 103 in the case of murder. Section 111 provides for punishment for organized crime. Section 113 describes the Terror Act. When a tragedy occurs, leaders try to take advantage of it. They go to the place and promise the public that the accused will be hanged, but it is not their job to decide this. Judiciary alone has the power to take this decision.
