Cricket West Indies launches Global T20 League: Teams from Pakistan, England and Australia will also play; Starting from 26th November

Cricket West Indies is going to launch a new T-20 league. Five teams from different countries will participate in this tournament called Global Super League. It will be held in Guyana from November 26 to December 7.

Starting on the lines of the Champions League, the tournament features Guyana Amazon Warriors (CPL), Lahore Qalandars (PSL), Hampshire Hawks (T20 Blast), Rangpur Raiders (BPL) and Victoria (Australia State Team).

The first match will be played on November 26 between Caribbean Premier League team Guyana Amazon Warriors and Pakistan Super League team Lahore Qalandars.

The final of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 was played between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Saint Lucia Kings.

The final will be played between the top 2 teams According to the ESPN report in the first season of this league, 5 teams will compete against each other i.e. teams will play 4-4 matches in the group stage. The final will be played between the top 2 teams. In which total 11 matches will be played in 11 days in the tournament. The final match will be played on December 7.

Difficult to play for big players The Global League is starting at a time when many countries are playing bilateral series in international cricket. Meanwhile, the T10 league season is also scheduled to be played in Abu Dhabi from November 21 to December 2.

In such a situation, many big names will not be seen playing with their respective teams in the first season of the Global Super League. The West Indies players are also involved as the West Indies team is scheduled to play a 2-match Test, 3-match ODI and an equal-match T20 series at home against Bangladesh from November 22.

The T10 league season will also be played in Abu Dhabi from November 21 to December 2.
