High and medium altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh received snowfall on Sunday evening and night. Many areas of Lahaul Spiti, the higher hills of Shimla, Mandi, Kangra, Kullu and Sirmaur received the first snowfall of the season. IMD has also issued yellow alert for rain in 8 districts. In many cities, the minimum temperature has dipped below 10 degrees. IMD estimates that Western Disturbance is active over Himachal Pradesh. Its impact will be seen across the state.
