Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is always in the news because of his statements. At an event in Nagpur on Sunday, he said, 'There is no guarantee that the BJP will form the government for the fourth time at the Centre, but our ally Republican Party of India (RPI) chief Ramdas Athawale will definitely become a minister.
Athavale was also present on the stage when Gadkari was speaking. Gadkari, however, laughed at his statement and said, “I was only joking.” Athavale is in the news for his witty way of speaking in Parliament.
The program was to honor Athavale. Gadkari honored him with the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Award. Meanwhile, Athawale said in his speech that till now he has got the ministerial post three times at the center and when the government is formed, he will become the minister for the fourth time as well. On that Gadkari said – Athavale is a meteorologist.
Gadkari said- Athavale gave his life for Dalits
Gadkari said that I extend my heartiest greetings to Ramdas Athawale. They should have a good life and a healthy life. I pray this on behalf of all of you. I believe he laid down his life for the downtrodden and downtrodden.
Athawale said – Jarange's demands are right
Athavale also discussed Manoj Jarange's demand for Maratha reservation. He said- The demand of Jarange is right, but the state does not have this right. So it should be considered whether a separate category can be created for the Maratha community.
Athawale sought 12 seats for the assembly
Athavale also said that we are demanding to get 10 to 12 seats for the assembly, we are going to demand that Chandrapur seat be given to our party. He who does not believe in the constitution has no right to live in the country. Changing or amending any law does not mean changing the Constitution.
