Former opposition leader of Gujarat Congress Paresh Dhanani has suffered a mild heart attack. An incident took place in Nashik during the Maharashtra election campaign. According to the information, he was admitted to a hospital in Nashik for treatment, where he underwent angioplasty. However, it is now known that Paresh Dhanani's health is on the mend. After a day they can be discharged from the hospital.

Rajkot seat became a hot seat in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Rupala's controversial remarks had seen huge protests from Kshatriyas in Rajkot. Due to which a big controversy arose. The controversy that started from Rajkot spread all over Gujarat. However, after a huge controversy, Rupala apologized three times from the public platform. However, protests were seen everywhere in Gujarat. The movement of the Kshatriya community started with the demand to cancel Rupala's ticket. However, despite heavy opposition, Rupala won the election by a large margin. After 22 years, Paresh Dhanani and Rupala faced each other in the elections. Earlier in 2002, Rupala became a giant killer by defeating the Amreli assembly elections.

Born on 15th August at Dhiru Bhagat's house Paresh Dhirjlal Dhanani was born on 15 August 1976 in Amreli. Father worked in Amreli District Cooperative Bank and was known as Dhiru Bhagat due to his charitable nature. This capital of social service was inherited by Paresh Dhanani, perhaps that is why he was drawn to politics with the motive of social service after obtaining his B.Com degree from Saurashtra University in the year 2000. Dhanani, who joined NSUI from his college days in Rajkot, became the Amreli District Youth Congress President in 2001.

In 2002, he defeated Rupala to become the giant killer In 2002, for the first time, he got an opportunity to contest assembly elections from Amreli. Prasottam Rupala, who was a minister in the Modi government and won three times, became known as the giant killer by defeating Parasottam Rupala by 16,000 votes. Half of Amreli's 70 villages are Patels, but 90 percent of them are Leua Patels, while 10 percent are Kadwa Patels.

Which elections were won and which were lost from 2002 to 2022? Kadwa Patel Rupala was winning with the support of BJP's 'Vania-Brahmin votebank' and Dilip Sanghani, but veteran leaders like Rupala and Sanghani could not survive against the young Leua Dhanani and in Kadwa-Leua politics. BJP fielded Dilip Sanghani to get back. For the third time in the 2012 assembly elections, Dilip came to face Sanghani again, but this time Paresh Dhanani also defeated Sanghani by 30,000 votes. Bavku Undhad, who joined BJP in 2017, was now fielded by the BJP, but the young Dhanani had now become an experienced leader. Not only did he defeat Undhad by 12,000 votes, Dhanani also won all five seats in Amreli and 23 out of 30 seats in Saurashtra for the Congress. After that, the Congress fielded him against BJP's Naran Kachdia in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. But he was defeated in the Lok Sabha by more than 3 lakh votes. When Dhanani faced BJP's young candidate Kaushik Vekaria in the 2022 assembly elections and faced defeat by 46 thousand votes. Thus they have been defeated in the last two elections.

Who's in the family? He got married to Varshaben in Pithavadi village of Savarkundla in the same year he contested the first assembly election (2002). He is the father of two daughters named Sankshatri and Samshyam. Being a farmer's son, he also knows how to cultivate rice. Not only that, buffaloes also take curd and fry fritters too.
