Former MP Navneet Rana threatened with gang-rape: A letter from a man named Aamir, wrote- Pakistan Zindabad; Also demanded a ransom of 10 crores

Navneet Rana is the leader of BJP. She lost from Amaravati in 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Former MP and BJP leader Navneet Rana has received a threatening letter from Maharashtra's Amaravati. Navneet has been threatened with gang-rape in the letter. Also said that cow will be slaughtered in front of his house.

The person who sent the letter has given his name as Aamir. He has also demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore. Also wrote Pakistan Zindabad. The accused has also written his phone number in the letter.

The letter used many more objectionable words about Navneet Rana. Indecent things were also written about her husband Ravi Rana. Ravi Rana's personal assistant Vinod Guhe has lodged a complaint with the Rajapeth police.

Actress-turned-politician Navneet Rana has been mired in controversies Navneet Rana is a film actress and politician. Navneet acted in many big films in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. In 2014, he contested the Lok Sabha elections from Amaravati on an NCP ticket, but did not win.

He contested the election as an independent in the year 2019. In which he won the Lok Sabha elections by defeating Shiv Sena's veteran leader Anand Adasul. She joined the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Balwant Wankhede of Congress defeated Navneet Rana by 19731 votes in Maharashtra's Amaravati seat.

  • In a rally in Hyderabad on May 8, 2024, Navneet said – If the police in Hyderabad move for 15 seconds, it will not be known where the two brothers (Owaisi brothers) have gone. Rana's statement is believed to be a response to Akbaruddin Owaisi's speech in 2013, in which he said that if the police were removed for 15 minutes, we would slaughter 25 crore (Muslims) and 100 crore Hindus.
  • Along with making Navneet Rana a candidate from Amravati in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP also made him a star campaigner in Gujarat. While campaigning in Gujarat on May 5, Navneet had said that anyone who does not want to say Jai Shri Ram can go to Pakistan. This is Hindustan. If you want to live in India you have to say Jai Shri Ram.
  • In April 2022, Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana announced the reading of Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree, Uddhav Thackeray's personal residence. After this announcement, thousands of Shiv Sena workers gathered outside Matoshree. He accused the Rana couple of hurting religious sentiments. After this, a sedition case was registered against Navneet Rana and her husband. The court sent both to judicial custody. However, he was later granted bail.
