Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhard's flight could not land in Ludhiana due to poor visibility due to fog in Punjab. It flew in the sky for about an hour. After this, an emergency landing was made at Amritsar airport.
On Tuesday, the Vice President was scheduled to reach Ludhiana-based Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). Where an international conference was held. Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann were also present, but the Vice President's plane could not land in Ludhiana. In such a situation, it was decided to land his plane in Amritsar.
This information was given to Amritsar DC office before landing at the airport. After which DC Amritsar Sakshi Sahni and Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar left for the airport directly.
VIP movement cleared the runway and his plane landed in Amritsar. The Vice President held a formal meeting with the officials. Meanwhile, the plane was refueled here. After which the plane again left for Indore.
The Governor and the Chief Minister addressed the program in the absence of the Vice President. More than 400 international scholars attended the event.

Bittu said – there is no fault of the farmer in tampering with nature Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu said that his heart is very sad today. The farmer is not to blame for tampering with nature. Bittu said that farmers are being harassed, nothing will be done by filing FIR against them and imposing fine or lathi charge.
He said that both the governments should sit down and resolve this issue. Today scientists, doctors and many senior officials and leaders from different countries gathered at PAU on climate. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhard was supposed to attend the event, but the pollution in Punjab is such that his visit to Ludhiana has been cancelled.

Fog, yellow alert in 5 districts of Punjab The effect of smog has been seen in five districts of Punjab. Due to which yellow alert has been issued. Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur and Fazilka may experience such fog till November 14. Smog is also affecting airways. The Amritsar-Pune flight was diverted to Delhi for the third consecutive day on Monday.
