Dussehra is being celebrated across the country today. Shastra Puja is performed on Vijayadashami, so Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Darjeeling, West Bengal to celebrate the festival with soldiers. In Sukna Cantt, the Defense Minister first worshiped the weapons. Later, tilak was applied to the soldiers present there.
Meanwhile, Rajnath said- The worship of weapons is a symbol of the fact that weapons can be fully used when needed.
The Defense Minister also said that we have never attacked any country. We have no enmity with anyone. We fought war only when any country violated our integrity and sovereignty.
Dussehra festival is being celebrated across the country in many states including Kolkata, Mysore, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. Ravana will be burnt by evening. The idols of the goddess housed in the Durga pandal will also be immersed.
