Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has questioned the BJP, RSS and PM Narendra Modi over the controversy surrounding the claim of a Shiva temple in the Ajmer Dargah complex. Gehlot said – whatever religious places were built till August 15, 1947, they will remain in the same condition, this is the law. It is wrong to question them.
Gehlot also said – Ajmer Dargah is 800 years old. People come here from all over the world. Muslims and Hindus also come from all over the world. Be it the Prime Minister, be it Congress, BJP or any other party, from the time of Pandit Nehru to Modi ji, chadar is offered in the Dargah on behalf of all the Prime Ministers. Laying a sheet has its own meaning. You are also putting up sheets and your party people are also filing cases in court. If you create confusion, what will people think?
Where there is unrest, development cannot take place, development stagnates. Who should do these things, Modiji and RSS should do these things. They are still running the country.
It is wrong to question religious places built up to 15 August 1947 The former CM said – As far as I know, religious places of any religion built till August 15, 1947 should not be questioned. Because it is a law for him. Ever since the RSS and BJP governments have come, you must have seen that politics is being run in the name of religion in the country.
Be it Maharashtra, Haryana or Parliament elections, all elections are won on the basis of polarization. These people are openly distributing tickets on the basis of religion. The condition of the country is very bad. This situation is not easy. It is a matter of seeing who is in power today.
'The gap between the party and the opposition has increased' Gehlot said- The responsibility of the ruler is very big. It is the responsibility of those in power to take the opposition along and respect the sentiments of the opposition, which they are not doing. The gap between parties and opposition is widening, that is our place.
The former CM said- Although the law was passed in the Parliament on the status of August 15, 1947, what will happen to the main issues of the country if we remain stuck in what was in temple and dargah? What are the main points, this is more important? Inflation, unemployment, development, economy, social justice and social order are the issues.
'Modi and RSS should campaign to end untouchability' Gehlot said- RSS says that we are a cultural organisation. Protecting Hindus. We walk with all castes. Hindus, be they Dalits, OBCs or any caste, are all Hindus. RSS should campaign for the abolition of untouchability and discrimination.
When Modi says, I can grab both thali and thali. He can do anything and the country listens to him, so he should have done this first. A date should have been given after which there would be no untouchability. Everyone is equal, that's what it's supposed to be. They don't do this.
Mehbooba Mufti said – it can increase tension Here former CM of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has written that despite his order paved the way for the survey of these places. This has increased the possibility of tension between Hindus and Muslims. Mufti said- first mosques and now Muslim dargahs like Ajmer Sharif are being targeted. This can lead to bleeding.
The court sent notices to 3 including the Ministry of Minorities On 27 November, the Ajmer Civil Court accepted a plea claiming that Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti's dargah Sankat Mochan Mahadev Mandir in Ajmer was fit for hearing. The petition has been filed on behalf of Hindu Sena National President Vishnu Gupta.
After this, notices have been sent to the Ministry of Minorities, Dargah Committee Ajmer and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The next hearing of this case will be on December 20. Vishnu Gupta has filed the petition based on two years of research and facts given in retired judge Harbilas Sharada's book 'Ajmer: Historical and Descriptive'.
Hindu Sena's National President Vishnu Gupta's three grounds of claim…
Design and Carving of Doors: The high door design present in the dargah is similar to the doors of Hindu temples. Looking at the carvings, one can guess that there was a Hindu temple here earlier.
Above structure: If we look at the structure above the dargah, here too there are things like the remains of Hindu temples. Looking at the dome, one can easily guess that a Hindu temple has been demolished and a dargah has been built here.
Water and Waterfalls: Wherever there are Shiva temples, there are bound to be water and waterfalls. Same here (Ajmer Dargah).
Gupta says – When Muslim invaders can demolish a school and build a hut for two and a half days, they must have demolished a Shiva temple. He said – There is a claim to have a Shiva temple in the basement here, because a dargah has been built on top of the Shiva temple.
