Three people were killed in floods and landslides in a village in Nagaland's Chumaukedima district late last night. Many people are missing. Search operation is in progress. A section of NH-29 connecting capital Kohima to Dimapur has been completely washed away. 64 people have lost their lives in the last 7 days due to rain and floods in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tripura. 17 people from Andhra, 16 from Telangana and 31 from Tripura have lost their lives. More than 72 thousand people have been displaced in Tripura so far. In Himachal, 78 roads, including 2 national highways, remained closed after rain on Tuesday. Landslides occurred in many places. The weather has declared a yellow alert for thunderstorms on Wednesday i.e. today. 153 people have died due to floods and landslides in monsoon season in Himachal. Today, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 19 states including Chhattisgarh and Bihar. The 6-year record of September rainfall in Hisar was broken. 57 mm of rain was recorded here in the morning. Due to which the low-lying areas of the city were flooded.
