Country Monsoon Tracker: Floods in Telangana-Andhra, 33 dead, 432 trains cancelled; Such floods have not occurred in the last 30 years, rains are likely in 21 states today

Such destruction he saw in his 50-year political career. The rains of the last three days have caused more damage than Cyclones Hudhud and Titli. Around 4.5 lakh people have been affected in the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 20 states including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan on Tuesday (September 3). Andhra Pradesh: Vijayawada, NTR, Guntur, Krishna, Eluru, Palanadu, Bapatla and Prakasam districts of the state, home to 20 teams of SDRF and 19 teams of NDRF, are the worst affected. 20 teams of SDRF and 19 teams of NDRF are engaged in relief and rescue. CM Naidu said that food packets were delivered to 3.5 lakh affected people on Monday. 8-9 drones were used to deliver food packets to people. 35 more drones will be deployed today. Relief materials will be delivered to people by boats, tractors and vans. 6 helicopters will be used for remote areas. Life in Vijayawada has been severely affected as power supply has been disrupted for more than 24 hours. Telangana: Loss of Rs 5438 crore due to rains and floods The Telangana government said that the state has suffered a total loss of Rs 5438 crores due to rains and floods. 110 relief camps have been set up. In which more than 4000 people have taken shelter. Due to incessant rains, the water level of Munnar river has risen in Prakash Nagar, Khammam. Khammam collector Muzammil Khan said that such floods have not occurred in the last 30 years. Himachal Pradesh: More than 100 roads closed in 8 districts, flood alert On Monday, 109 roads including NH-707 remained closed in Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has on Tuesday (September 3) issued yellow alert for rain, thunderstorm and lightning in Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Kullu and Kinnaur. These districts are prone to floods. Officials said that 151 people have died in rain-related incidents this year so far. Due to which the markets of Perkota area here were flooded. Even today there is a rain alert in all the districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for light to moderate and heavy rain at some places till September 6 in Rajasthan. Haryana: Rain alert in 2 districts, rain in 5 cities in 24 hours, highest in Jind; It will rain for 7 days Monsoon has gained momentum in Haryana. It has been raining for the last 3 days in most of the districts of the state. Heavy rain has occurred in 5 districts in 24 hours. Jind recorded the highest rainfall of 10 mm. According to the Meteorological Department, rain may continue for 7 days. Heavy rain alert in Panchkula and Yamunanagar today.
