Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is accused of land scam. The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) has allotted five acres of land to the Siddharth Vihar Trust in the Hi-Tech Defense Aerospace Park near Bengaluru. Siddharth Vihar Trust is run by Khadge and his family. The trust includes Mallikarjun Kharge, his wife Radhabai, son Priyank Kharge, son-in-law Radhakrishna Doddamani and younger son Rahul Kharge. The BJP has alleged that Kharge has acquired this land by misusing his power in the state. This scam should be investigated by CBI. However, CM Siddaramaiah rejected these allegations. 2 arguments in defense of the state government on the issue of land allocation… Siddaramaiah said- Kharge's trust worked according to the rules Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah defended the land allocation and said, 'It has been done according to the law. Their trust is right, so we have done this. Questioning the previous decisions of the BJP, he asked, 'How did the BJP (in power) allocate land for Chanakya University? We have done as per law. Priyank Kharge said – When did buying land become illegal? Karnataka government minister Priyank Kharge said, 'Here we are buying the CA site, we have not asked for any subsidy or delay in payment or anything illegal. What is illegal about this? I don't understand. He accused the BJP of politicizing the issue by naming the Chief Minister and Mallikarjun Kharge.
