Cocaine worth Rs 2,000 crore seized in Delhi: Hidden in Namkin packets; Drugs worth Rs 5600 crore of the same syndicate were caught 8 days ago

On Thursday, the Crime Branch seized 208 kg of cocaine from a rental shop in West Delhi's Ramesh Nagar area. Its price in the international market is Rs 2,080 crore.

These drugs were hidden in 20-25 packets of snacks. 'Tasty Treat' and 'Spicy Mixture' were written on these packets. It was posted here by a person living in United Kingdom.

He fled before the police raid. He had rented a shop a few days back for his clothing business. Two people including the shop owner are being detained and questioned.

Four people were arrested during the raid on October 2. After this, 2 more people were arrested from Amritsar and Chennai. After this, a person was arrested from Hapud in UP on Thursday itself.

Among these 7 arrested people are also two people named Tushar Goyal and Jitendra Gill, who were running the racket of this international drug syndicate in India.

Syndicate members were given code names Police said that most of the members involved in this syndicate do not know each other. They coordinated through social media. For communication, each member was given a code name.

Apart from this, the police suspect that these drugs were brought to Goa by sea from South American countries. After this he was brought to Delhi.

On October 2, the police presented the four accused before the media.

These drugs were hidden in a warehouse in Mahipalpur, Delhi.

The biggest bust in the capital so far This is considered to be the biggest ever case of cocaine seizure in Delhi. The police had been working for the last two months to bust this syndicate. Then the police received inputs about the supply of drugs. These smugglers were trying to smuggle this drug in the capital and NCR.

Delhi Police's Operation 'Kavach' Against Drugs

228 kg ganja seized on September 30: For the past several days, the Delhi Police has been conducting Operation 'Kavach' to nab drug suppliers. The Delhi Crime Branch busted an international drug cartel on September 30, seizing 228 kg of ganja. The price of which in the international market was estimated at 1.14 crore rupees. Two suppliers of this cartel were also arrested.

On July 27, 6 kg of cocaine was seized: Delhi Police nabbed a German national with 6 kg of grade-A cocaine from the Delhi airport on July 27. The price of this cocaine in the international market is said to be Rs 12 crore. The name of the accused was Ashok Kumar.

Drugs worth 1800 crore rupees were seized from Bhopal 4 days ago

On October 5, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and ATS Gujarat jointly raided a factory in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, where MD drugs worth over Rs 1800 crore were recovered. Two people have also been arrested in this case
