CM Atishi working amid cartoons laden with baggage: bungalow evacuated; LG office said – Bungalow number 6 in Delhi is not the Chief Minister's house

A day after being evicted from the Delhi CM's residence, Atishi was seen working in the CM's office at his private residence. Its video was also shared by Delhi Chief Minister's office. In it, Atishi can be seen sitting among the carts full of belongings taken out from the CM residence. Meanwhile, he also signed a file.

The CM housing controversy escalated when the PWD sealed bungalow number 6 on Flagstaff Road in Civil Lines on October 9. CM Atishi moved to this bungalow on October 7. After three days they were evicted from the bungalow.

According to the Delhi LG office, this bungalow is not the Chief Minister's house and can be allotted to anyone. Atishi had illegally occupied this bungalow. If someone encroaches on our property, the owner is entitled to take action.

On the evening of October 9, CM Atishi's belongings were taken out of bungalow number 6 in Delhi.

Atishi stayed in this bungalow for about two days. PWD has taken back the keys from him.

PWD took house keys from Atishi, AAP alleges – threw the belongings out The PWD officials came to the Chief Minister's residence on October 9 at 11-11:30 am. According to him, rules were not followed in handing over the building. Atishi had the key to this house, but was not given the official house allotment documents. The officials had taken away the keys of the house by afternoon.

Regarding this, the CM's office said, 'For the first time in history, a Chief Minister has been asked to vacate his house. At the behest of BJP, the LG forcibly removed the belongings of CM Atishi. Preparations are underway to give this CM residence to a big BJP leader. There is no BJP government in Delhi for 27 years, now they want to usurp the CM's residence.

The PWD had written to the CM's office on October 6 saying that the key given by Kejriwal while vacating the house was taken back after some time. PWD talked about giving key for allotment of house.

The vigilance department issued show-cause notices to three officials The vigilance director has issued a show cause notice to three officials including Kejriwal's special secretary. The other two officers are those who were stationed in the CM's office when Kejriwal was the CM. He has been asked why he did not hand over the keys to the Chief Minister's residence to the PWD even after giving clear instructions. The officials have been asked to respond within seven days.

He further said- 'You have done a good drama by carrying your luggage in two small trucks. Everyone knows that the bungalow is still in your possession. The way you tried to hand over the bungalow to Atishi was illegal. Atishi has already been allotted a bungalow, so how can he take yours? Many secrets are hidden in that bungalow.

Kejriwal shifted to a new bungalow with his parents

Arvind Kejriwal shifted to bungalow number 5 on Ferozshah Road, Lutyens Delhi on the afternoon of October 4. This bungalow has been given to AAP's Punjab Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal.

Kejriwal has shifted along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal, parents and two children. Ashok Mittal and his wife welcomed everyone into their home. Mittal told news agency ANI that Kejriwal has shifted as a guest at my house.

Kejriwal had resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi on September 17. He announced to leave the CM residence and all government facilities. AAP said that Kejriwal is looking for a new home. They are looking for a place where there is no controversy to live.

AAP had alleged that a demand was made to the central government to accommodate Kejriwal as the national party chief, but there was no response from the government.
