China-Pakistan will not escape the eyes of India's 'hawks': If they cross the border, they will be caught immediately, 52 spy satellites equipped with AI will be launched in 5 years

India will launch 52 spy satellites in next 5 years. The purpose of these satellites will be to monitor the activities of neighboring countries China and Pakistan. This will significantly increase the surveillance capacity of the Army.

The Times of India has given this information citing ISRO sources. According to reports, the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by PM Narendra Modi has approved the third phase of the Space Based Surveillance (SBS-3) program on October 7. All these satellites will be Artificial Intelligence (AI) based. They will be able to communicate with each other at an altitude of 36 thousand km. This will make it easier to send signals and send messages and images to Earth.

The surveillance satellite is special, will cost 27 thousand crore rupees

  • 27,000 crore rupees will be spent on launching 52 satellites. ISRO will not build all 52 satellites. 21 satellites will be built by ISRO. 31 satellites will be prepared by private companies.
  • All the satellites will be AI based. A senior ISRO official had said last December that communication between satellites would be possible.
  • If a satellite detects something in GEO (Geosynchronous Equatorial Orbit) at an altitude of 36,000 km, it can send a message to another satellite in a lower orbit (at an altitude of 400-600 km) to investigate the suspect area further. .

Vajpayee launched the SBS mission in 2001 India's Space Based Surveillance (SBS) mission was launched in 2001 by then Prime Minister Atal Bihari.
