BJP said – Kejriwal the biggest symbol of VVIP culture: 12 crore worth toilet seat and 29 lakh rupees TV in Chief Minister's residence

BJP has accused former Delhi CM and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal of corruption. BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said on Friday – Arvind Kejriwal has become the biggest symbol of VVIP culture.

He said, 'When Kejriwal was at the top of the Delhi government, the cost of equipment used in his residence (CM residence) was very high. It also includes toilet seats worth 12 crores.

Bhatia showed a 2013 social media post of Kejriwal and said – Anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal who entered politics in 2012. Through this post, he targeted the then Delhi CM Sheila Dixit and said that Sheila's house has 10 ACs including a bathroom.

Bhatia said that Kejriwal had accused Sheila of corruption. The question was raised that when more than 40% of Delhi's population lives in slums, how can the Chief Minister live so comfortably. Bhatia said Kejriwal later removed the post.

A toilet seat worth 12 crores, a TV worth 29 lakhs Bhatia cited official documents after Arvind Kejriwal resigned as CM and left the government residence. He said that the former CM's bungalow had an area of ​​21 thousand square feet and had 50 ACs. There is a 250 ton air conditioning plant. The residence had a toilet seat worth Rs 12 crore. There was a TV worth more than 28.91 lakhs.

Bhatia said that if Sheila Dixit was wrong and corrupt to have 10 ACs, what would Kejriwal say about this luxury. Kejriwal buried the political ideology that brought him to power. If they have the moral courage they should respond.

The cost of this curtain was Rs 4 crore to Rs 5.6 crore. Also, water supply and sanitary fittings worth 15 crore rupees were made in the bathroom. Apart from this, kitchen and bathroom items worth lakhs of crores have also been mentioned in the list.

After the list was announced, the BJP state president said that smart toilet seats with fully automatic sensors have been installed in the Chief Minister's residence. It had features like automatic open-close seats, heated seats, wireless remote deodorizer and automatic flushing. Its price was between 10-12 lakh rupees. This seat is now missing. Along with this, decorative items worth crores of rupees are also missing.

The PWD released the inventory list on Sunday after former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal vacated 6 Flag Staff Road bungalows. It has been stated that a total of 80 curtains with body sensor remote control system were installed in Kejriwal's house. The list of Kejriwal's 'Sheeshmahal' has been announced by PWD. This residence was the official residence of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the last 9 years.
