Criminals are challenging other criminals through tattoos. Five major gangs of gangsters are active in Punjab. When these gangs became more popular due to social media, young people started joining them. Since then the currency of this tattoo has increased. Prisoners get this tattoo done in jail or on the way to court. When more cases of HIV started coming in Punjab, the attention of the government and the police administration shifted towards this. Now the investigation has been started. It takes at least three to four hours to get such a tattoo done. If a criminal gets this tattoo after being in jail, he should also be investigated. An investigation is also underway into whether detainees get tattoos when they go to appear in court.
