Barricading to stop Rahul from coming to Sambhal: Police stationed at Congress leaders' houses, DM says – stop them from coming

Congress workers from Bulandshahr have reached Ghazipur border. They are raising slogans in support of Rahul-Priyanka.

Today is the 11th day of violence in UP administration. Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi-Priyanka is going to visit on Wednesday. Commissioner Anjaney Singh has refused Rahul to come to Sambhal. He has said that there is tension in the district now.

Sambhal DM Rajendra Pansia has written to the police of 4 districts of UP, Ghaziabad, Noida, Amroha, Bulandshahr near Delhi. It is said that Rahul's movements should be monitored. Arrangements should be made to stop them.

Police became active here from Tuesday night. Police were deployed at the Congress district president's house in Hapud. The police have reached the houses of several Congress leaders in the surrounding districts.

Rahul visited a doctor in Noida at 7 am. After this he returned to Delhi again.

Entry from Delhi into UP was barricaded at Ghazipur border on Wednesday morning. Rahul Gandhi reached Noida at 7 am and returned later. Sources said that he had come for some personal work.

Violence broke out in Sambhal on November 24 during a survey of the Jama Masjid. Police have confirmed the death of 4 youths in the violence. The DM has enforced Section 163 till December 10. Under this, not more than 5 people can gather at one place.

The SP delegation on Saturday and the Congress delegation on Sunday also announced to be cautious. However, the police did not allow anyone to enter by blocking various places.

A conspiracy is being hatched to stop Rahul- Pawan Kheda

Congress leader Pawan Kheda said- In the last 10 years, we have seen how communal tension is slowly being created across the country. These people cannot win elections without raising tensions.

In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi wants to go there to meet the families of Sambhal riot victims and alleviate their suffering. A conspiracy is being hatched to stop them. For the last 100 years, the ideology of the Sangh has been trying to stop Congress and Gandhi. But always failed. Neither you could stop that Gandhi nor you can stop this Gandhi.

Manu Singhvi said- Stopping Rahul Gandhi would be undemocratic

Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, 'I fully doubt that Rahul Gandhi will not be allowed to go to Sambhal. Many people want to go to Sambhal and Rahul Gandhi is at the forefront. Whatever happened in Sambhal cannot be supported in any way. If you stop people from going there, it is undemocratic.

The commissioner also appealed to Rahul not to get involved

Commissioner of Moradabad Division Anjaney Singh has appealed to Rahul Gandhi not to come in charge on Tuesday evening. The commissioner said – there is tension in the city now. The DM has banned the entry of outsiders till December 10. Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi is now being urged to cancel his programme.

Section 163 applied in Sambhal, ban on assembly of 5 people

DM Sambhal Dr. Rajendra Pensia has issued a restraining order till December 10, 2024 invoking Section 163 of the BNSS. This prohibits gathering of 5 or more people without permission. DM has announced a mandate of 25 points. The special thing about this..

1- No person shall hold any rally of 5 or more persons without permission. Nor shall he form a group of 5 or more persons in a public place.

2- No person shall carry or display in any public place sticks, rods, sharp knives and sharp weapons within the limits of Sambhal District.

3. No person shall store bricks, stones, bottles, inflammable material or any explosive material in any open space or on the roof of a house.

On November 24, violence broke out again during the survey

On Sunday, November 24, at 6.30 am, a team with DM-SP again reached Jama Masjid to survey. Seeing the team, the people of the Muslim community got angry. In no time more than two to three thousand people reached outside the Jama Masjid. When the police tried to stop them, some people pelted stones. After this violence broke out.

The survey was first conducted on November 19 on the application of the Hindu party

The Hindu party filed an application in the Sambhal District Court on November 19. In the 95-page petition, the Hindu party has relied on two books and a report. It includes the Babarnama, the In-e-Akbari book and a 150-year-old report by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

The Civil Court of Sambhal ordered the Commissioner to conduct the survey on the same day. A few hours after this order, the Commissioner's team conducted the survey on the same day. The survey report has to be submitted within a week. The Jama Masjid party has appealed against this order of the civil court. The next hearing of this case will be on November 29.

What is the Sambhal Masjid controversy?

The Hindu party has long claimed that the temple stood on the site of Jama Masjid in Sambhal. On November 19, 8 people reached the court regarding this matter and filed an application. Prominent among them are Supreme Court lawyer Harishankar Jain and his son Vishnu Shankar Jain. These two people are also looking at Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Mathura, Kashi and Bhojshala.

Apart from this, the petitioners include the names of lawyer Partha Yadav, Mahant Rishiraj Giri of Kela Mandir, Mahant Dinanath, social activist Vedpal Singh, Madanpal, Rakesh Kumar and Jitpal Yadav. The Hindu side claims that the Site was the Sri Harihar temple, which was demolished by Babur in 1529 and converted into a mosque.
