Security forces have killed a terrorist in Sopore of Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening. Earlier on November 8, security forces had killed two terrorists. A search operation is going on in Sopore since then.
Officials said that information was received that 2-3 terrorists were hiding in Rampur forest on Saturday. A joint search operation by the security forces has been going on since then. Meanwhile, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. A terrorist has been killed in retaliatory firing.
November 8: A search operation was conducted in Sagipora and Panipora Security forces killed two terrorists in Sopore. The army conducted a search operation in Sagipora and Panipora. Encounters were going on in these areas of Sopore since the night of November 7. There were reports of 2-3 terrorists hiding here.
Kashmir IGP VK Birdi said that 2 terrorists have been killed in this operation. A large quantity of arms and ammunition and incriminating documents were recovered from them.

3 terrorists involved in Srinagar grenade blast arrested Kashmir IGP VK Birdi also said that on November 3, there was a grenade attack at a Sunday market near the Tourist Reception Center (TRC) in Srinagar. 12 people have been injured in this attack. Three local Lashkar-e-Taiba militants involved in the attack were arrested.
The IGP said that the trio carried out the attack on the orders of terrorists present in PoK. The arrested terrorists have been identified as Usma Yasin Sheikh, Omar Faiyaz Sheikh and Afnan Ahmed. All these are residents of Ikharajpora, Srinagar. A case has been registered against the trio under UAPA.

Militants killed 2 village defense guards in Kishtwar On November 7, terrorists killed two village security guards in Adhwari area of Kishtwar. The police said that the militants abducted a village security guard who had gone to graze cattle in the Munjala Dhar forest and shot him.
The deceased were identified as Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, village guards of Ohli-Kuntwada. The bodies of both were found lying near a drain in Pondagwari area of Keshavan belt on Friday.

Kashmir Tigers, an ally of Jaish, claimed responsibility for the attack The Kashmir Tigers faction of terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the attack and killing of the village guard. The Kashmir Tigers shared pictures of the dead bodies of the defense guards on social media, in which both were bleeding from the mouth. Both were also blindfolded. It is written in the post – this war will continue till the independence of Kashmir.
This came to light when the terrorist outfit sent photographs of the dead bodies of the two guards to their family members. The sad aspect of this incident is that Kumar was killed a week after his father Amarchand was killed.

- LG Manoj Sinha: No words are enough to condemn the Kishtwar attack. My condolences to the families of the brave sons who lost their lives in this cowardly attack. We are determined to destroy all terrorist organizations and avenge this attack.

- November 8: Security forces killed two terrorists in Baramulla's Sopore. A search operation was conducted in Sagipora and Panipora.
- November 5: A terrorist was killed in an encounter in Bandipora. Police and army personnel conducted a search operation.
- 3 November: A grenade blast took place in the Sunday market near the tourist reception center in Srinagar on Sunday. In which 12 people were injured. Immediately after the incident, the entire area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.
- 3 Encounters on November 1-2: Within 36 hours, there were 3 encounters between army and terrorists in Srinagar, Bandipora and Anantnag. Army commander killed in Srinagar. Army has killed 2 terrorists in Anantnag.
- 28 October: 3 terrorists killed in Akhnoor. Terrorists fired at an army ambulance near LoC. After this they ran towards the forest. No army personnel were injured in the encounter which lasted for 5 hours.
- 24 October: Terrorists attacked an army vehicle in Baramulla. In which three jawans were martyred. Two laborers have also died. The PAFF organization claimed responsibility for the attack.
- October 24: A non-Kashmiri laborer was shot dead by militants in Batgund of south Kashmir's Pulwama district. The worker was injured in the firing.
- October 20: A doctor from Kashmir, an engineer from MP and 5 laborers from Punjab-Bihar lost their lives in Ganderbal's Sonmarg. The Resistance Front (TRF), an army outfit, took responsibility for this.
- October 16 : A non-local youth was shot dead by militants in Shopian. After the attack, a search operation was conducted to find the terrorists in the area.
On November 2, the army killed top army commander Usman alias Chhota Waleed in Srinagar.
Terrorist aide arrested Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and 92 Battalion of 22RR also arrested an accomplice of the terrorists on November 5. He has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Wani, a resident of Tuzar Sharif in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. Police recovered one pistol, seven live rounds and one magazine from his possession.
