On the order of Akal Takht Sahib, Sukhbir Badal was on duty as a guard at the gate of the Golden Temple. Akal Takht Sahib has also condemned the attack on him.
Akali Dal working president Balwinder Singh Bhundar said that the attack was not on Sukhbir Badal but on the Golden Temple. The way the Punjab Police and the state government are presenting this whole matter, it is clear that the state government and the Aam Aadmi Party are involved in this whole conspiracy. In such a situation, the police investigation cannot be trusted. Akali Dal leaders will meet the Governor of Punjab regarding this.
Akali Dal will contest municipal elections Dr. Cheema has announced before the meeting that the party will contest the Municipal Corporation elections. When it was decided not to contest the by-election held last month. At the same time, ahead of the meeting, Bikram Majithia has again raised questions on Amritsar SP Harpal Cheema.

On the other hand, before the December 2 meeting, Sukhbir Badal's resignation from the post of Akali Dal chief is to be accepted in a few days and its report to be sent to Shri Akal Takht Sahib. It is hoped that in this meeting the Akali Dal will also decide on this and consider how to do it.
The stigmatized and rebel parties have to move forward together Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh ordered that after the meeting both the tainted and rebel parties will work together for the Akali Dal. Now it remains to be seen which leaders of the rebel group will attend this meeting.
Badal government was punished in 4 cases
1. Withdrawal of complaint against Ram Rahim- In 2007, Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Chief of Dera Sacha Sauda in Salabatpura, followed the tradition of the 10th Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and performed the act of sprinkling amrit by dressing like him. A police case was registered against Ram Rahim on this, but instead of punishing him, the Badal government withdrew the case.
2. Sukhbir Badal apologized to Dera Mukhi- Ram Rahim was expelled from Sikhism by prosecuting Shri Akal Takht Sahib. Sukhbir used his influence to get Ram Rahim pardoned. After this, the leadership of Akali Dal and Shiromani Samiti had to face the anger and resentment of the Sikhs. Finally Shri Akal Takht withdrew its decision to pardon Ram Rahim.
3. Incidents of desecration were not properly investigated- During the Badal government's tenure, on June 1, 2015, some people stole the beads of Sri Guru Granth Sahib from the Gurdwara Sahib of Burj Jawahar Singh Wala (Faridkot). Then on 12 October 2015, 110 volumes of Sri Guru Granth Sahib were stolen and thrown away from Gurdwara Sahib in Bargari (Faridkot). Because of this, a lot of anger spread in the Sikh community. The Akali Dal government and the then Home Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal did not investigate the matter in time. Failure to punish criminals. Due to which the situation in Punjab worsened.
4. Failed to bring justice to Sikhs killed in false cases- The Akali Dal government appointed Sumedh Saini as the DGP of Punjab. He was held guilty of killing Sikh youths in the state by staging fake police encounters. Former DGP Izhar Alam, who formed the Alam Sena, made his wife the Chief Parliamentary Secretary on a ticket.
