The winter session of Parliament began on November 25. Which will be completed on 20th December.
Thursday is the eighth day of the winter session of Parliament. In the last 7 proceedings of the Parliament, Sambhal violence, Manipur violence, the issue of farmers' demands and the Adani case were the most discussed. Even today there are chances of uproar over these issues.
During a meeting of women MPs with Priyanka Gandhi at Parliament complex yesterday, they greeted her by saying Jai Shri Ram. In response to which Priyanka said that we are women. Say Jai Siyaram, don't forget Sita.
MPs expressed their views in both houses of Parliament on Wednesday. However, the opposition staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha on the issue of China. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said in the Rajya Sabha that there are differences with China on some parts of the LAC, which India and China hold periodic talks to resolve.
After Jaishankar's statement was over, the opposition sought his permission to clarify, but Dhankhad did not accept it. Protesting this, the opposition staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha.

2 Bills were introduced in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha
Boiler Bill 2024: Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal introduced the Boiler Bill in the Rajya Sabha. This will repeal the 100-year-old original law. The Boiler Bill, 2024 seeks to criminalize certain offenses related to boiler activities. The bill contains special provisions for the safety of people working in boilers.
Railway (Amendment) Bill, 2024: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav introduced the Railway (Amendment) Bill, 2024 in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. This bill will amend the old bill Railway Act, 1989. The bill deals with new rules in development, management and other departments of railways.
Lok Sabha Secretariat said – Do not protest in front of Parliament Gate
Opposition MPs protested, demanding a debate on Adani and Sambhal violence. After this, the Lok Sabha Secretariat asked the members of the House not to protest in front of the Parliament Gate. A statement released by the secretariat said that due to the demonstration in front of the gate, it is difficult to come and go to the Parliament House. There should be no protest at the Parliament Gate in view of security.
A total of 16 bills will be introduced in the session, 11 will be debated, 5 will be presented for approval
A total of 16 bills are to be introduced during the winter session of Parliament. 11 of these bills will be put up for discussion. When 5 will be put up for approval to become law. A set of bills proposed for One Nation One Elections is not yet part of the list, although some reports say the government may bring it into session.
Also, the Rajya Sabha bulletin said that an additional bill passed by the Lok Sabha, the Indian Aircraft Bill, is pending approval in the Rajya Sabha.

November 25: Day 1 – Debate between Dhankhar-Kharge in Rajya Sabha November 25 was the first day of the winter session of Parliament. There was a discussion in the Rajya Sabha between Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhad and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Mallikarjun Kharge. Dhankhad told Khadge that our constitution is completing 75 years. November 27: Next day – Uproar in Lok Sabha over Adani issue At 11 am on November 27, the second day of the session, the opposition created an uproar as proceedings began. At 12 o'clock there was a commotion again when the proceedings started again. The opposition also raised the issue of violence in UP administration. After which both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till November 28.
November 28: Day 3 – Priyanka Gandhi takes oath as MP November 28 was the third day of the session. Priyanka Gandhi reached Parliament for the first time. He took oath as an MP in the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, he kept a copy of the constitution in his hand. Along with Priyanka, her mother Sonia and Rahul Gandhi also reached Parliament. Priyanka has won the by-election from Wayanad seat. Along with Priyanka, Ravindra Chauhan, who won the by-election from Nanded, also took oath.
November 29: Fourth day- Speaker said- House belongs to everyone, country wants Parliament to function On the fourth day, the opposition again raised the issue of Adani and management in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Opposition MPs continued the uproar during the proceedings. Speaker Om Birla said, 'Agreement-disagreement is the strength of democracy. December 2: Fifth day – Party-Opposition floor leaders agree on running the house On the fifth day, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla called a meeting of the floor leaders of the party and the opposition as Parliament's proceedings were marred by uproar for the past four days. It was decided in the meeting that both the houses will be functioning properly from December 3.
December 3: Day 6 – Opposition raised questions on government on Sambhal violence and Adani issue. Almost the entire opposition, including Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, staged a walkout from the Lok Sabha, creating a ruckus. The Banking Laws (Amendment) Bill 2024 was passed in the Lok Sabha. On the uproar of the opposition, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju said that running the Parliament is very necessary to run the country. If the proceedings of the Parliament do not run properly then the MPs and the opposition of the country suffer the most.
December 4: Seventh day- Opposition walkout from Rajya Sabha on China issue, two bills introduced The opposition walked out of the Rajya Sabha on the issue of China. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav introduced the Railway (Amendment) Bill 2024 in the Lok Sabha. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal introduced the Boiler Bill in the Rajya Sabha. Chairman Dhankhad scolded the opposition on the issue of farmers in the Rajya Sabha. Said – For you, the interest of farmers is selfish.
