33 dead in 24 hours in MP-UP: Army rescues 300 people in Gwalior; Delhi-Agra highway submerged in 4 feet of water

Monsoon generally starts withdrawing from northwest India from September 17. Monsoon season ends by October 15 across India. The Meteorological Department said that the country has received 836.7 mm of rainfall so far in the monsoon season which started from June 1. This is 8% more than the normal rainfall (772.5 mm) during this period.
