Rajasthan: Out of 7, BJP has only 1 MLA, Congress 4 and BAP-RLP 1 each
By-elections will be held in seven seats of Rajasthan within 11 months of the assembly elections to be held in 2023. Out of these, only Amritlal Meena was a BJP MLA from the Salmbar seat, the remaining 4 were held by the Congress, one seat by Bharatiya Adivasi Party and one by Hanuman Beniwal's RLP.
The bypoll results will also be directly seen as the first test of the Bhajanlal government in the state. However, the BJP won 18 out of 25 seats in the Lok Sabha elections held almost six months after the assembly elections. But these results were not satisfactory, as BJP won 24 seats in 2019 and all 25 seats in 2014.
At the same time, the Congress has had a hand in the by-elections of the last 5 years. Congress won about 89% of the by-elections. However, BJP's confidence has increased after the victory in Haryana, but if the result goes against the BJP, a political crisis is sure to arise against the party and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.

Bihar: By-elections to 4 seats, Assembly Elections- 2025 Semi-Finals
The by-elections to four assembly seats in Bihar are being considered as the semi-finals of the 2025 assembly elections. In the 2020 assembly elections, the Grand Alliance had three out of four seats.
However, Nitish Kumar, who is leading the NDA in Bihar, is confident that in the by-elections like the Lok Sabha elections, people will definitely vote for him based on his performance. However, it is difficult to determine whether the reason behind the NDA's 30-seat victory in the Lok Sabha elections was Narendra Modi or the effect of Nitish Babu's work.
On the other hand, Tejashwi Yadav and his supporters are promoting the jobs delivered during his 17 months in government. However, no effect was seen in the Lok Sabha elections. If this declines, it will not only undermine Tejashwi's credibility but also put a question mark on his leadership.

Madhya Pradesh: Shivraj in Budhani and the prestige of the government in Vijaypur at stake
Both the assembly seats in the state have become a prestige issue for the BJP. Actually, Mercury is the seat of Shivraj Singh Chauhan. He became an MLA from here for the first time in 1990. After this, during his tenure as Chief Minister, he was elected as an MLA from here continuously from 2006 to 2023.
After winning from Vidisha seat in the Lok Sabha elections, Shivraj had resigned from Budha assembly seat. For him, the BJP has given ticket to Ramakant Bhargava, who is vacating the Vidisha Lok Sabha seat from Wednesday.
Another special thing is that so far there have been three by-elections in the Budh seat and all three times it was due to Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Apart from this, Congress made Rajkumar Patel its candidate in all three by-elections.
State Forest Minister Ramnivas Rawat is contesting from Vijaypur seat. He has been MLA from Congress 6 times from this seat. He was also elected as an MLA on a Congress ticket in the 2023 assembly elections, but joined the BJP in April 2023.
After this, he became a Cabinet Minister in a Cabinet reshuffle in July 2023. Congress has given ticket to tribal leader Mukesh Malhotra against him. Now it remains to be seen whether the people of the area elect Ramnivas Rawat, a six-time MLA and forest minister after defection, or trust the Congress.
