The dead bodies of two policemen were found in a police van in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur on Sunday morning. According to officials who came to investigate, the policemen shot each other. Police say that this is a case related to mutual enmity.
The policemen were on their way to an auxiliary training center in Talwada from Reasi in Jammu region to Sopore. One of them was a driver and the other was a head constable. The head constable fired at the driver on some issue before committing suicide. Both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
A selection grade constable sustained minor injuries in the incident and has been sent for treatment. He is being questioned in this matter.
Attacked with an AK-47, then shot himself
According to the police, the accused used his AK 47 rifle in the firing. He was posted in Sopore and a resident of Kashmir. Citing preliminary information, it has been said that the accused first shot dead his accomplice and then committed suicide.
