2 Gram Raksha Guards killed in Kishtwar: Jaish-affiliated outfit says- war will continue till Kashmir's independence; Clashes continue in Sopore

Terrorists have killed 2 village security guards in Adhwari area of ​​Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. On receiving the information, police and army have conducted a search operation in Munjala Dhar forest.

According to a PTI report, village guards Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar of Ohli-Kuntwada went missing on Thursday morning when they went to graze their cattle. In the evening, Kuldeep Kumar's brother said that information about Kuldeep's death has been received.

The Kashmir Tigers faction of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Gram Raksha Guard. Kashmir Tigers shared pictures of dead bodies of VDG on social media and wrote – All this will continue till independence of Kashmir.

On the other hand, a clash started between terrorists and the army in Sopore of Baramulla on Thursday night. Army's Chinar Corps said on X that information was received that some terrorists were hiding in Panipura area of ​​Sopore in Baramulla. During the search operation, the terrorists opened fire, which was also retaliated by the army personnel. Currently firing is going on from both sides.

6 attacks in last 7 days In early November itself, there were 3 encounters between security forces and terrorists in Srinagar, Bandipora and Anantnag. In which 4 jawans were injured and 3 terrorists were killed. One of the terrorists killed on November 2 was identified as Zahid Rashid. Another was Arbaaz Ahmed Mir. Both took training from Pakistan.

The fourth encounter took place in Bandipora on November 5. In which one terrorist was killed. After this, there have been 6 attacks in a week in Jammu and Kashmir including 2 village security guards and an encounter at Sopore on November 7.

On November 2, the army killed top army commander Usman alias Chhota Waleed in Srinagar.

An aide of the terrorists was also caught Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with 22RR and 92 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) also arrested an accomplice of the terrorists on November 5. He has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Wani, a resident of Tuzar Sharif in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. Police recovered one pistol, seven live rounds and one magazine from his possession.

5 attacks by terrorists in October

  • 28 October: 3 terrorists killed in Akhnoor. Terrorists fired at an army ambulance near LoC. After this they ran towards the forest. No army personnel were injured in the encounter which lasted for 5 hours.
  • October 24: The PAFF organization claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on an army vehicle in Baramulla. The police said that after the attack, the terrorists fled towards the forest.
  • 24 October: Terrorists fired at a laborer in Batgund of south Kashmir's Pulwama district. The worker was injured in the attack and is undergoing treatment.
  • October 20: A doctor from Kashmir, an engineer from MP and 5 laborers from Punjab-Bihar lost their lives in Ganderbal's Sonmarg. The Resistance Front (TRF), an army outfit, took responsibility for this.
  • October 16 : A non-local youth was shot dead by militants in Shopia. After the attack, a search operation was conducted to find the terrorists in the area.
