11th-grader found money-counting machine: Drives to school in luxury car, then hides it; 20 lakh rupees spent on fun

Police have arrested Kasif Mirza (age 19), a class 11 student who cheated people through an investment scheme in Ajmer and remanded him to 2-day remand. He told during interrogation that he used to go to school in a luxury car and kept it hidden before returning home. The teachers complained to his father about this. The police have also seized a money counting machine from him. He used to stay in luxury hotels in Ajmer and Pushkar two or three times every month. He also used to buy branded clothes every week.

The investigation has so far revealed a fraud of Rs 80 lakh, of which Kasif has spent Rs 20 lakh on his luxury life. This case belongs to cyber police station of Ajmer. On Monday, the police arrested Kasif, a resident of Nasirabad.

Police said- Usha Rathore and Mala Patharia, victims of fraud, registered a case at Nasirabad City Police Station on March 21, 2024. The accused used to lure social media users with lucrative investment schemes.

The accused had cheated the two women of about Rs 42 lakh by giving them the lure of profit. He told about a scheme related to investment, in which he talked about more profit in less time. A luxury car, 1 iPhone, laptop have been recovered from the accused.

Kasif has so far duped 200 people in Nasirabad alone.

4000 started the cheating game SI Manish Charan said – Kasif's money has been found in 5 different bank accounts. Transactions of around 42 lakh rupees have also been found in one account. Transactions of remaining accounts are being investigated. During the investigation, it was found that in October 2023, the accused along with two other friends formed a company named Lakshmi Investments. Earlier this scheme was started from 4000 rupees.

The accused used to cheat people by doubling their money in 24 to 28 days. When this scheme was launched, money was also given to people in the beginning. So that people can become victims of this scheme. Most of the people include distant relatives of the accused. The people of Nasirabad have been the major victims.

Slowly kept increasing the scheme by deceiving people. As people were joining, more money was being invested in the scheme. Currently, up to 1 lakh rupees are being invested. As the fraudulent money increased in his account, he stopped giving money to people. Such a plan was created to lead a high profile life.

A 19-year-old boy spent 20 lakhs When the police checked Kasif's account, they found that he had spent Rs 20 lakh so far. Every month he used to go and stay in luxury hotels in Ajmer and Pushkar two or three times. Along with this, he also used to buy branded clothes every week.

During the interrogation, it was found that Kasif used to search for victims through social media. His job was to spread this fraud scheme to as many people as possible through WhatsApp and Instagram. His job was to promote it on social media and transact the amount. Currently, the police are interrogating Kasif on this issue.

The father said – the real thugs are making someone else, the son, a pawn Kasif's father Parvez Mirza says – he had no knowledge about the entire incident. They knew nothing about what the son was doing with his friends. He got information about this scheme from his friend's father. All I know is that Kasif was creating a reel on social media. Due to his large number of followers, he is being implicated in this case.

Pervez Mirza said that some time ago he came to know about Kasif's luxury car from school. His teachers had called to inform that the son had come to school with a car. After this it came to know that these people were hiding the car somewhere. Other people are also involved, my son is being made a pawn. Kasif is a science-maths student, his father works in making iron bodies of trailers for trucks.
